I took my Sophie’s Universe pattern book to an office supply store and had it spiral bound. It was inexpensive and made the book a WHOLE lot easier to work from.

Hi Terry. Try not to get too discouraged with your weight gain. It’s small. Also, you are building muscle, which weighs more than fat. Losing inches despite weight gain is still moving in the right direction. You’re doing great! ❤

I have a question: you said you were going to make a hot mat to match your chicken coasters. Are you going to do one that matches the coasters exactly and just enlarge the pattern, or do you have another pattern in mind?? I saw a pattern the other day and thought of you!! I love how the Feel Better Friends doll is coming along. The blue underwear and the hairstyle are great changes. It is nice that you can do that so they all are unique like the children they represent. I wondered when you were going to do the filet crochet blanket with self striping yarn if the pattern would show. I often find with filet crochet or a pattern that has a lot of different stitches that variegated yarns or self striping yarns make it difficult to see the beautiful stitches....I can't wait to see it in the pink!! Keep crocheting yarny friend 💜💜💜

I'm loving seeing your Sophies Universe on Instagram. It is gorgeous. Just holding the head of the fbf doll is a lot easier, a lot less cumbersome. Keep going with your weight journey. I made the chicken coasters from Bag-O-Day's pattern in similar color as yours they were amazing solid colors of black, brown, white, also a black and white stripes from peaches and cream was very pretty too.
