Guys, Gals, her stage name is S. Squirm! If you don't realize she's actually succeeding in what she's doing, you're not open minded enough. That said - yeah, i squirm, i think this is as lame as intended...
I can’t tell if you’re saying it’s good because it’s bad, or you’re mocking the people who are saying that. To clarify, IMO it’s not funny. It’s not funny on so many levels. I think it’s the repetition. What starts as mildly amusing is done to death in a matter of seconds. No surprise SNL was all over that, huh?
@@cmw12 no, i'm actually just saying that i *think* that she is intentionally bad. I don't find her good in any way - just wanted to point her name out
Agree. And to the idiots who say you just don’t get it, it’s not your thing, it’s absurdist humour, it’s disaffected socialists on Twitter humour, it’s Eric Andre-approved, you’re too dumb or old or square to get it…. I get it. I wish I didn’t get it but unfortunately I do. It’s simply an awful thing to behold.
Don't u get it? It's anti-comedy. You know, comedy that isn't funny but it's so unfunny that it's "funny"...I guess? Nah it just sucks. Hard pass on Sarah..
I just found her bc of Eric Andre, but I'm not laughing at this ._. is just not funny for me at least, still, she has potential but, is this comedy? :T
Might be a mismatch in audiences. I get the sense Eric Andre might attract more of the reactionary teenage edgelords, but her material is geared more toward disaffected Twitter socialists.
@@RGB117 wait, I can't tell if you're joking. I just watched his stand-up and it was mostly weird noises and sex jokes. I enjoyed it, but let's be honest
To be fair that's part of the comedic process. You have to see what jokes land to know if you need to supplant them The inane political opinion shit is garbage tho I will say
No ones upset? Just calling it what it is I'm my opinion, an uninteresting performance that feels extremely forced. And who said anything about gender?
Thomas Montgomery I did & am I wrong, it’s a buncha dudes saying she’s not good, many comparing her to Eric Andre while not realizing she’s parodying fucks like you, it’s top tier, forced if you’re an insecure dude I guess. If you’re not upset you wouldn’t comment “terrible” you’d just stop watching the video lol
Thomas Montgomery you can look through the comments, you’re just the tip of the iceberg lol. Idk her pissing odd a buncha white dudes honestly only makes her image look better it’s great
There’s one reason why someone like this can be promoted up to a anchor spot on Saturday night live and cohost with Eric Andre… Because they have the right politics. Being funny certainly doesn’t have any effect on whether or not she gets a job… At least not according to this
I don't get it, I really don't. I came here after SNL where I thought she was great. But here I can barely understand her and what I did catch I didn't find funny. Is it supposed to be anti-humor?
At the end of the day some stand ups are just better at other things like acting than their own stand up. Sarah seems to thrive as a character actor and a Colin Jost roaster more than a comedian.
Hey Psycho-O-Sonic! Interesting opinion. Here's a link to an article about Sarah's upcoming show in NYC! Weird huh www.timeout.com/newyork/comedy/its-time-for-a-little-show
Eh seems like a decent person but just not very funny. This whole awkward/manic humor shtick where you just retell an anecdote in weird voice just doesn't seem to land. This feels like a consequence of the Dane Cookification of standup.
please make it stop. everything that turns me off about her is on full display here - goofy and mugging for the camera, loud and quite frankly, obnoxious. it makes me question everything I know about comedy that she's on SNL. OK, I'll stop, lol.
