Roars like a bear when she comes hahahahahaha... still game is top shelf quality comedy that you never get tired of watching .. has me in stitches everytime.....
I work with the actor who plays 'Gerry', and in real life he is genuinely a very nice guy. In fact, I worked alongside him for over a year before I realized he was even in this episode! He never talks about his acting career, even though he's been in loads of movies and TV shows. I just leave him be and chat to him on occasion. He's a very humble guy. I've never let on that I know who he really is. I think he prefers it that way, so I respect his privacy.
Absolutely love Still Game, I think I have watched the whole series at least 4 times from the first series to the very last and seeing all the fabulous characters disappearing into the ether makes me tear up every time and I’m from as far south as you can get from Scotland, Sussex by the sea. 👍🐾💕
I'm only just discovering it now! In 2024! But I'm glad I did! Working my way through the lot over the last couple of days! Lovable characters lol. Apart from Tam. He's done nothing redeeming yet!

I'm sorry that I didn't discover this show until it was on Netflix last year. If I had only known it was on RU-vid all along. Of course, Netflix's subtitles are for real. I really needed those for the first few days.
What a fantastic show. I've watched the entire series many times and laugh every single time. It's funny, but when I first started watching this show I had a heck of a time understanding what they were saying. That changed as I watched and have no problem at all now. For anyone that doesn't like this show, well git it up ya!
One of my mates got married a year or so ago and on his stag night (it was virtual), we watched this episode and the one where Winston gets married. It’s random but they’re both belters. XD
I always die inside when I see Victor filming Jack sitting on the potty trying to shit out Tam's wedding ring!!! 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 _“Aww come on, Victor, GET OOT!!! SLING YER HOOK!!!”_ AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I have never screamed laughing like that ever before in My life!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely love Scottish humour but this show tops the lot. And this is one of the best episodes of Still Game. Delicious ring with lasting aroma ew. Probably the most outrageous of the end credit 'rolls'.
Yes, the BBC doesn't allow blatant advertising so anything linked to an existing product or company has to be changed so it you know who it is but they can't say they're being advertised. I remember an old Rab C Nesbitt scene where they did the same with Rab yelling at Jamesie "jist wance.. I wid like tae be able tae talk to you... withoot feelin I jist gargled wi preparation X!" I'm not sure how it works with the likes of the newspaper stands outside Navid's shop though.
I love you guys,STILL GAME RULES!i cant help but think who chose the teenage lad Victor whos nose goes from very large to twenty something victors button nose!sorry peeps i just find it quite funny.in a nosey kind a way
I am in seattle have seen this 100 plus times (so maybe 300) and just finally noticed Nina in several scenes. What's exactly can any of you cool game fans can purport is wrong with me?
@@mimagreenfield1423 Aye I think it was set in the late sixties/early seventies - outfits and hairstyles very convincing - well worth a watch (as always).
I never liked this episode because it uses the old tired cliche of a modestly successful shop owner in a small town making a deal with a corporation to sell their products, only to slowly lose control of his business to the heartless corporation. Business wise, it makes absolutely no sense for the owner to do this, unless of course they're selling their ownership of the business, which is obviously not the case, because in the end, the store owner always goes back to running the shop their own way.
