I am about to move in to my garage for raising the frames. I chose to paint them in advance as some of them are hard to reach once the hull cladding have been added.
i build several runabouts from glenn l disigns. last couple of years i build exactly this one and is in the water this year. i build it with one engine because petrol is expensive overhere. The boat runs very smooth . These drawnings do not give the right deckplan but in "carlo the legend, riva the myth books ""are very good layouts. Stick as much to the original and you wil have a beautifull boat.
How's progress? We have these plans and plan to build our Aquarama as a project for our shipwright and apprentices. The plans are a good start but still need to do the engineering of the various systems.
I purchased these plans and spend 3-4 years building and finally gave up and had a tow truck take to the dump. You will find there is not enough detail to the plans when you flip the boat over. I wish you the very best of luck. I look forward to seeing your progress.
I know what you mean. I purchased a 9meter catamaran and I find that there are not enough (For me) info . I see other plans and come as a book with lots of details. I am at the lofting process and over 6 months I will be starting with the build.
Thanks for watching & commenting To my knowledge you should only use thickened epoxy when filling gaps. Here I am bonding two plane surfaces, so no reason to thicken the epoxy. Pls. subscribe and stay tuned
