EPISODE FOUR - MARZ: The Untold Truth About MARZ Leaving DARK LOTUS 

From 91' until 2005, that was the prime years for psychopathic records. So much creativity and passion. ICP is still doing what they love and expanding thier horizons. A shame everything fell apart. But alas great things all come to and end. And I was happy to be apart of it. I might live my life around ICP anymore. But I always listen to the old shit and admire all the great times and great memories it left me and helped shape me as a man.

​​@@MrChronick17 I'm 42, and have been down since I was 16. Definitely, the era of the first deck was where it's at. The love Juggalos had for each other was on another level, the music meant so much more than the lyrics, and the live shows were the greatest.

@@nwerd7584 man, that would be cool, but I hope they don't include Boondox. I'm a huge fan of his music, don't get me wrong, but he's got too much of a southern voice for Dark Lotus. His voice fit good with Rydas, in fact he was one of my favorites with all the Rydas albums that included him, but I don't think he would sound right with Lotus. Just give his spot to Marz...

@@sayidjones3054 wasnt he on the last dark lotus album? im not sure because it was the one I listened to the least, didn't think it was very good. I think if ABK boondox could, just has to be a good beat and structure which I don't think that album has much of. Who knows how twiztid will do it though. Im always curious if they cut out the joeys or not.. ABK live doesn't cut out all the J stuff on his albums.

Ministry's been one of my fav bands for years and I remember reading in J's bio that he was an engineer for ministry and was like "GTFO". Everything I enjoy always links together someway somehow

@timothymiller5284 I've known Ministry since their NWO release in 1992,. The album was repatative, noisy, chaotic, like nothing I ever heard before. One day I purchased In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up Live, which is the tour Marz played in, if Im not mistaken, and I became an instant fan, I told everyone I knew to listen to that album, and I still tell people that they must listen to In Case You Didnt Feel Like Showing Up. .... Many many years later I discover Dark Lotus and when I found Marz was in Ministry, I also felt surprised how all the artists I like are connected in some way. Like 8 years ago I saw Napalm Death for the 1st time ever, and the singer introduced the band, and when he got to the guitarist, he said the guitarist is a Juggalo, me and like 5 other people in the venue yell Whoop Whoop!!! Lol

look back at the last 30 years where everyone sucking you off from your genius in marketing. When you leave and enter a room for half your life being worshipped it doesn't usually create a humble person.. Ruby seemed to kind of wake Joe up, but Rubys become a voice of establishment propaganda from school, and its bleeding in to Joe IMO. Remember Joe used to hate richies til he became one.

It was a group called Insolence. There were 3 legs on this tour. First one had Suicidal Tendencies and Nashville Pussy. Leg 2 was Marz and Insolence. Third leg was Marz and Blaze.

Isn't Marz a Christian rapper now? I am not religious, but Thrive is a great album.

💯 ABK did better on black rain in his defense though he wasn't in the studio during the creative process and had to take his verses onto every one's elses . The marz version to this day is the superior version . Marz really encompasses the whole dark magic vibe to lotus for real he killed his verses .

It's not just Joe unfortunately, it's Jumpsteady as well. Bukshot said he used to be good friends with Joe until he released the Underground Avengers album with MNE. He said Jumpsteady called him right after the album announcement just to personally tell him that they refuse to work with anyone that does business with MNE, therefore Bukshot won't be getting booked for the gathering anymore. J and Rob just seem to hold serious grudges

That was the first thing that came to my mind when J announced his heart condition.. he could be gone any day now, and the thought of him passing away before having some kind of "family reunion" with Twiztid just doesn't feel right. They just need to do one more project together, at least. Let the legacy end on a good note.

Many issues go along with this, J obviously has mental problems and drug problems. But MANY of the artists that beef with him are also back stabbing liars. The cycle just continues.

I saw him on his first tour with icp, Poughkeepsie ny. I think it was probably his 2nd or 3rd show with them. The fans in New York loved him

I talked to him for a few minutes, got his auto,(still got it) and man.... I was in love from day one, I didn't know him, didn't know he was on tour, ( I was 14)
