Thanks for this video Nathan! I had this issue with a project a few weeks ago. I was using some dark pigments so I figured I could get away with it. Now seeing it being done with no coloring has me more comfortable. Love learning from you videos man!
exact question I had.. *thank you!* I had a whole gallon that sat for a while and turned yellow. At mixing time finally, it did clear up when the two came together.. so far.. all is good just like you came up with. I think 1 year starts when you open it. awesome! molds looked cool. new to the trade.. LOL
Hey Nathan, I have those coaster molds. They're the worst. The walls are wavy and the coasters get thinner. Was able to replace them with a more rigid mold. I can share em with you on fb if you like.
Put a few drops of Indigo color alcohol ink in the epoxy and it will go completely clear. I realize this is 2 years later, but in case this happens again, this is what you can do to keep your epoxy (curing agent) completely clear. Add denatured alcohol to get the bubbles to pop and either a torch or a heat gun to pop bubbles.
Hi. I have only just subscribed and love your videos. My wuestion is, can i use two different brands of resin on one piece of work, eg if one brand has cured or tacky, can i use a different brand for my second pour. Thank you.
