After a great first night on the beach, I was aching to ride the amazing coastal road of Senggigi. I had been there over 20 years ago and my memories of it was of one of the most scenic rides I'd had in Indonesia, well, I wasn't disappointed, and I even came across a "haunted" villa at some point. Great video, Mr. Daniel! I've been enjoying your videos for a while, and I think they've gotten much better. Just one suggestion: maybe turn down the volume of the music a little, I feel like the music is significantly louder than the other parts of the video. So far, I think episode 2 is the best overall. I enjoyed watching you interact with the locals, eat the local food, etc.

Man your video is getting better! One of the best so far. Im pretty sure you put so much thought and work on the editing process. Love the different approach of the opening music when you enjoy your coffee on the beach, and many cool different footages as well when you driving. Always excited to watch your next videos because we never been there, and you make it interesting, and we want to know your story more. Keep the good work mate!! Have a great journey!

Excellent video and music. I have travelled those roads a few times and stayed at Pondok Siti Hawa a few times too. First time was 2009. Siti Hawa is such a lovely woman and herlate husband, Puk Hussin, was really passionate about keeping the beaches clean. He did a lot to creare environmental awareness in the area. Thanks for sharing. You are doing a great job. Don't forget that ride I suggested you do in Sumbawa - it's epic!

The route I suggested was Poto Tano then south to Maluk and Sekongkang. Thereafter, east to Lunyuk then north to Sumbawa Besar. You coud do it on the way back west if you've missed the chance to do it now. Btw, I highly recommend you drop in the Lesehan Santong for ikan bakar. It straddles the bay at Telok Santong just where the road reaches the sea. It's about 30km east of Plampang. Enjoy.

@@jekyllsride I definitely will. I was in Sekongkang in March this year. Accommodation was in short supply as PT Amman who are operating the Batu Hijau gold/copper mine (formerly operated by Newmont Mining) have leased some of the homestays for their workforce. I struck gold on the 4th place I called at. In fact it's one of the first places you come across. It's on the right - Mega Arafah Homestay operated by Pak Achmad and his lovely wife Fatma. Pak Achmad worked in Egypt, Lebanon and Saudi back in the 80s - a lovely man. You are doing me a great service by keeping me in touch with the part of Indonesia that I love the most - the fabulous islands of NTB and NTT. BANYAK TERIMA KASIH.
