Unboxing and overview of the Epson Expression ET-2750. Epson's new line of eccotank printers claim the ink will last two years. We unbox the printer and take a look at the included supplies, what the new ink looks like and how the printer performs on first boot.

Send it back if you can. Mine died when it did an update. the company will send a refurbished one for $150.

I wouldn't, I hope i am not too late. If you try to update it, it will brick itself.

@@NSDaishi mine has updated twice so far. Works fine. I've had it for 3 weeks so far. Even then If it does brick theres a 2 year warranty on it. I'm completely happy with it so far.

Is this the same model as l4160? I ordered it and reading the comments is it really a bad printer especially the updates and wifi connection?

The only problem I have is when it wants to,update the software, every time it does that, my computer will not recognize it. I quit trying to update the driver and software.

I have done everything correctly but when it prints the paper shows up blank with nothing printed on it even though I have inserted all the printer ink in the correct places...... Need help

that sucks no paper tray no doc feeder for scans i mean i wanted to buy this to replace my old epson xp-420 but i don't see any reason to do this because basically they are still the same printers besides that liquid ink in this one ..i'm pretty disappointed.

ET-3700/3750 (+ADF) and ET-4700/4750 (+ADF/FAX) The ones with the '5' have duplex (double-sided printing).

Nice video on the practicalities of this printer. How about something on the actual quality of print from regular text to photo prints and business graphics? Cheers.

This is not considered a photo printer so I wouldn't set too high an expectation of the quality of photo prints. My needs are simple and most of what I output is disposable. I'm printing at the default settings and I would say its about average quality. If you're looking for a printer to do some basic printing, I recommend. If you want something more polished or better photo output, you may want to look elsewhere.

@@BartlettBlog I appreciate it's not considered a photo printer outright but I think a lot people like me who would like a machine that does both admirably without maybe being too super-duper in one area or the other tend to mentally benchmark a printer's overall capabilities by the quality of a photo print out, some business graphics, or a mixture of text and graphics. Would just have been nice to see a close up of output quality because I am really drawn to the apparent efficiency and frugal nature of the ink-feeder system. Cheers.

@@timboid2006 So far I feel the output of graphics/photos is below average for a printer of it's kind. However, I have made no effort to bump up the resolution. By default it was sub par.

Sandy W make sur it’s close to the router I had it far away from it and it dindt wirelessly print so check you have it close to he internet source

Those ink bottles contain 2 years ink? It is hard to believer one time filled can last as it said 2 years

Is hard to believe. So far so good though and a coworker has the same printer for over two years with the same ink. I'll be checking back after the new year to show current page output vs ink levels, so stay tuned. Subscribe!

Even if it is going to run out in 2 years you can buy a hole 4 bottles for half of the price of the 1 hp cartilage.

I sent a job the other day that took MUCH longer than any job before it. Usually it prints pretty quick. I also updated the firmware recently so I'm going to keep an eye on this.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. Because if it somehow updates, the update will fail halfway through and is permanently stuck in "printer mode" which isn't what is sounds. in "printer mode" it doesn't print and any computer can no longer identify it. There is no solution other than the company sends a refurbished one.

Firmware updates have the potential to brick any device. I have applied a few times without issue. Sorry to hear you had trouble but good you noted here in case others have a problem. So far your case looks pretty isolated.

I imagine you were in the return period or they identified a real issue. Either way you are better going through the process now and ensuring all is OK. This is not a wildly reported issue so either you have a bad unit or... we all make mistakes. Any system is vulnerable during a firmware update and a wrong move MAY cause major issues.

@@NSDaishi The Reset to default button would reset the settings within the firmware, but not revert the firmware itself (for any product). Very few products would recover from a bad firmware update.
