Hi friends,
I have been trying to find the perfect printer for over a year, and after settling on the Canon Pixma ix6850 I discovered this is out of stock for an undetermined period. So I decided to buy the Epson Ecotank L3156 instead. In the future I might also purchase a Canon Pixma Pro if I feel the need to. This printer is supposed to be very good quality and economical, plus it's white and goes well with my studio aesthetics.
In this video I will unbox the printer, style it, set it up, and do a test print of some sample work.

Can the ink bottles be refilled by removing the top? Also can the scanner scan long bond paper?

Hi Fatima, you are welcome. I believe it can print up to 200gsm.

I have never tried stickers. I am only using to print paperwork and occasionaly photos, and I find it great. I believe the Canon Pixma would be better for that.

I'm considering getting an ecotank since my current printer sucks up so much ink and is costing too much in cartridges. How has printer been 2 months on? I've heard ecotanks are pretty good and the only complaints I've seen are sometimes having issues with certain papers.

Hi and thanks for watching. I have been enjoying using the printer. I haven't printed too much but I have printed a lot in colour and the ink consumption is great. Only thing is that I have noticed when printing photos, especially with faces in it, the colours are not great but that might need a little experimenting from my end. If you need it for paper work, planner pages, crafts projects it's a great printer. I have used regular paper, 100gsm, 180 gsm gloss, and vellum with no issue so far.

@@darlingslowliving3481 the funny thing about this printer is that you cant print borderless in A4 size. this is ridicules. because I really love this printer :(
