This is seriously the best how to video I have seen! Straight the point, no dragging it out, and I could actually follow it and see what is being done. Thank you!!!
**UPDATE** This worked for me, MAKE SURE you do the wait times and follow the instructions. After waiting the 24 hours to turn it back on, did the POWER head cleaning I waited the additional 24 hours and ran a nozzle check, then had to run a regular head cleaning and everything was perfect after that!
Thank you for this video! I was able to do it all on my own; with NO printer troubleshooting experience. I am pretty techy and I know that helped me some, but think I could've done it no matter with your step-by-step instructions. You were very thorough in your descriptions and it fixed my problem with my Ecotank 15000 that I converted to sublimation. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thank you for this great video! just one small tip/remark. Do not unplug the cable from the printer, because that cable live and carrying 110/220 V. Instead unplug it from the socket. stay safe
WOW! Excellent video! I just ordered the cleaning kit and can’t wait to do this. I will update when I have done this. Feeling really positive that you have solved my problem.
I have completed the steps and prior to using the solution I completed many power and print head cleanings. I am still only getting the top half of black text when printing the nozzle check, this is so frustrating. Your video was clear and helpful.
Try having some grace with yourself, this process can require a lot of patients. I recommend starting from the beginning and redoing the cleaning and maybe that you have to do it several times, but don't rush it this process does work. It just takes time with some printers, especially.
Thank you so much for this informational video. Have been having issues with the black ink on my epson and tried replacing maintenance box etc and nothing had worked. My husband just helped with doing the steps in your video now gotta wait 24 hours and hope it worked!! fingers crossed!
I have an ET-16600 printer and can’t find a video to help me correct this. The cyan color is not printing correctly. I’ve done a cleaning head, alignments, and power cleaning. Do you have a video to fix this printer? I ordered the cleaning kit you recommended and also changed the Maintenance Box and it is still not working . Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Question. Did you wait 12hours before using after you did the power clean? In all you would have to wait 24hrs after cleaning and 12hr after power clean?
when i began, no colors were printing. i purchased your kit. 3 colors are now perfect but black is still not printing. what else can I do for my epson ecotank15000 please and thank you
I just did a complete cleaning about a month ago with this cleaning. It was printing really well. Can i do it again ? Could I have not done it right should I do it again?
Only you can decide if you need to do a second cleaning if you feel that the front quality can improve even more or that you did not sufficiently solve the problem the first time doing it the second time will absolutely benefit you.
Great Video.. Question, I have this printer which is only two months old. I have ink coming through the seam of the printer which I found out is on the side of the maintenance box. I did a large sublimation job. My maintenance box is only showing half used, do you think I should change it now?
thank you for your tutorial! so easy to follow. my black and yellow were good prior. I did all the steps but HELP. No ink is coming out at all now. Should I do it again? or is there something else I should do. .. thank you so much!
You can repeat the process, and make sure that your ink is full when doing things like power, cleaning, and deep cleaning. Also, consider warming up the cleaning fluid and then reapplying.
I looked through a bunch of the comments, but couldn’t find my question answered. I just set up the printer last night (6-1-24) and did all the charging and print tests. I cannot get my yellow ink to print. Would I need to do this? Thank you.
Thank you! I was going to try “charging” it again but did a couple of more yellow color ink purges first and all of a sudden it worked.. 🤗. Thank you again for replying so promptly and for all your advice!!
Nozzles dry up faster than on my old Designjet models lol. I can leave them of for 2 weeks and it will still come out fine. Epson is just one of *Those* brands
This is such a great video and so easy to understand. I have a question, though. Back story - I printed about 20 pages without problem, but the next day there were lines that wouldn't fix with cleaning, purge page, etc. Cyan was the only color affected. We've followed your directions 3 times now, but there is still a problem with the cyan. With nozzle checks, head cleanings, and power cleanings, we're still getting major broken lines in cyan. Any idea where we can go from here? Thank you!
Hi, thank you for the comment, I know it may seem like you recently changed the ink on the printer, but that is what I would check at this point I would layoff on the cleaning kit cleanings. And only do nozzle, cleanings and power cleanings like you've been doing, but I would make sure that the ink is totally full. This will ensure that there is enough volume of ink entering the system.
@@BestPrinters thank you. We'll try that. When we've done power cleanings, the level on cyan doesn't change much, but all the others go down pretty quickly. We almost saw a positive change after a couple nozzle checks, but the next nozzle check/cleaning, it went back to the same 2 lines that have big portions missing. I appreciate your help.
when I try to push solution thru cyan, and magenta, the solution comes up they the yellow or black nozzle. is there any salvaging this printer? Help Please
its been months since this video posted; i have just ordered the cleaning solution and will be trying it in the next few days. My 1500 has Eco Solvent ink, so im considering it a Giant Paper Weight at this point. I really am hoping this will help however i will understand if it doenst since this ink type is not for this printer. Still any pointers would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU in advance for any additional pointers for this type of ink and also for your detailed video 😃
thank you for your video, i did the cleaning because my printer is not printing a teal color (it did before) it seemed like it was missing the whole yellow color because it would only print the image blue. i did the cleaning but didn't help :( also when i do a print nozzle check all my color print beautifly, but when i send my image to print all the yellow disappear :( i don't know what to do anymore!! please help!
Hi Printer guy! I followed your instructions, and it went pretty well after i got all the screws out---then when putting the screw back in under the plastic it popped up. What can I do and what's it called?

Did the cleaning, topped off the ink waited 24 hours. Ran the power clean. Did a nozzle check and the black is faint/non printing. Replaced the waste ink bin as well as it was full. What should be my next step? Should I wait and run another power clean?
Another thing you could do is just run a deep cleaning. It will be a lot less ink usage but you still may have to run it several times until your color returns. You were on the right track. This is a very common thing that happens through this cleaning.
I have this computer and I love your video so easy. BUT, the cyan is totally clogged it will not take the cleaning solution it just explodes off the tip. Any suggestions? All the other colors cleaned well.
Hi, please visit bestprinterstech.com and click on get support. That will take you to several videos on how to warm up the cleaning fluid because that's what you're gonna need to do in order to break that blockage.
My cyan won’t print. I’ve unassembled the printer as you directed and I’m looking at the cyan cartridge and it’s empty all the others have ink in them. Do you think this is a clog in the cyan line or is it a clogged print head?
I performed your steps twice and the black is still not printing. I heated the cleaning solution and between doing this twice I used 2 bottles of the cleaning solution. What else can I do to get it to print.
My printer now has a print jam error. I've made sure there is absolutely no paper anywhere. Took it back apart and put it back together to make sure everything is correct but still getting the error 031006 🥺 any advice?
Excellent video!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I unfortunately, unplugged the cables when I opened the top of my Epson L3256 printer. I did all the cleaning as per your video but where goes 2 of the 3 cables? 😢😢😢 Please I need your help 👐🏻🙏🏻
Not really once you've already done the cleaning and you waited 24 hours. You can begin doing other power, cleanings, and nozzle checks consecutively after that
@@BestPrinters Hello, I'm not sure if you are able to help. I ordered the kit and followed all directions in your video to a T. I am still getting black lines in my yellow ink. Some go the whole way across the page very faintly, but on almost every purge page there is a small section of teeny black lines. They appear in the same place on every print out. I have been battling this for months...so much wasted ink, paper, and time. Any other suggestions?
@@BestPrinters omgggg another one lol... ok will do like it started printing black pages all over and noticed inside the printer that there was ink on the right side inside the printer. So I took out all the ink out and waiting on some new ink to replace the whole ink. Thank you so much for responding!
I did exactly this procederé because the magenta wasn't printing, but even after the cleaning, it still doesn't print that color. Any others tip would be helpful
I have a large clicking sound when the cartridge reaches the end while printing after doing this process. Any idea what this is. It sort of sounds like a clunking sound
Ok I followed all the steps ( I have converted mine to eco solvent) and now it’s printing blank I did the power cleaning after also .. so do I need to repeat the cleaning solution process ? or just do another power cleaning or print head cleanings ? Also had a question.. when pushing the solution through magenta it came out through the yellow. Does that mean it’s still clogged ? Cause when I did yellow it came out through magenta also instead of flushing out under the print head but black and cyan did not do that. Thank you !🙏🏻
I have tried all the steps to clean my print head and it’s still has lines going through the black ink. Even the nozzle check page does not print the words. And the alignment pages does not print out either. But when I print a purge page it does print black with narrow gray lines. Is there anything else that I can do? Thank you
Clearly, your printhead is functioning properly. I have seen this problem before. Well, you will want to do is check if the printer needs a software update and also check your print quality settings. You would be surprised to find sometimes the settings are not set correctly to print.
The process will be very similar if not almost exact to the Eco tank 16,600. There may be a difference on how you access the printhead and I would just be maybe you have to loosen some additional screws, but that's about it.
just curious....my black and yellow are the issue and I can't push the cleaning solution through the black, it goes through fine for yellow. Any recommendations?
hi i follow your instructions and my black ink is still not going into the printer all of the other inks when thru expect the black NEED SOME HELP PLSSSS

Hi printer guy... I just bought a used et15000 to convert to sublimation printing. Can you make a video for this process? I'm sure it envolves flushing the tanks and lines besides the heads.
I have a Epson ET 15000 and I am getting nothing but blank pages when trying to print. I tried cleaning the print head but can’t get liquid to go thru the nozzles. Any help or suggestions? TIA
We’re you able to fix it? I was able to get the solution through all the others except one. It’s giving me a hard time pushing the warm/hot solution through
@@xclusivelybyrd4461Same here 😞. Pushed the solution into the magenta nozzle and it comes back up through the cyan and vice versa. I’ve already used (2) cleaning kits snd warmed the water and everything and it’s still doing that.
Still not working for me not sure what I’m doing wrong 😢 I followed all the steps I ran the cleaning solution until the paper towel was coming out clear connected everything and waited 24 hours. Unfortunately my maintenance box was full so I had to order a new one so I had to wait a few days before I could run the nozzle check and it’s still giving me the same issue
I just completed this cleaning and so now i wait the 24 hrs to turn on again. But im worried tht the clog is also in my lines. I wld like to know wht to do- then. @frankiesauceda9215
On the min 10:04 that lid on top comes off? Because it does looks like it should be remove in order for the tube to go in but ion your video it doesn’t show how. Please help.
@@BestPrinters NOOO! Don't do it. I did that and now the maintenance box needed replacing. I did that and still prints blank. It ruined my printer. Not your fault. I shouldn't have done it.
I followed every step, waited 24 hours, did a power clean with a new maintenance box. Was told to wait 12 hours after power clean to use printer. Now when I turn on the printer I get error code 031004. Any chance you know how to fix this? I think my printer is fried
You followed all the instructions. The printhead may have already been on it's way out. You can try leaving off for another 24 hours and unplugging try powering back on that may work.
I’d like to know if your yellow ever worked again?? I’m on my second round on my magenta and hoping it works. The lines are thicker now after first cleaning .. thank you
That's totally normal, when you install ink and start to print again, everything will go back to normal as far as yellow printing out of the yellow nozzle and magenta printing out of the magenta nozzle.
Hello for whatever reason I still don’t have coming out after waiting 24 hours after the printhead cleaning. I did the power clean only the black comes out. The other colors not working
Am I the only one who can't get the print head cover off? I got it lose but the left side won't release so I can take it off. I've been trying for the past 20 minutes and don't want to brake it. The little long piece won't slide out. What am I doing wrong here??
Mine is still not printing correctly even after using the cleaning solution. It's only one color that is not printing correctly on the print check sheet.
well did u follow the instructions? one crucial part he mentioned was, WAIT 24 hours BEFORE you plug in the power and power it on. Did you by chance not follow this step? that could possibly explain why you are having issues. the other crucial part he mentioned was deep cleaning at the end to push back the ink into the printer.
😊I've done print head cleaning before, but this is the first printer that I have not been able to remove the print head. Thank you, you instructions were very simple and detailed. I am waiting the 24 hours right now but feel confident that my ET 15000 will work again. Will update in 24 hours.
@BestPrinters I also followed all the instructions including deep cleaning and was only printing out yellow so I was going to give it another power clean the next day (which is today) and it won't turn on at all.
If it doesn't work the first time, then try again. In the past I've had to do several cleanings for her to work. It just depends on the printer and the severity of the problem.
