Epson inkjet printer incomplete, stripy printing. Air bubbles removing from dumpers

It's an Epson L210 printer, however the same procedure applies to L350, L351, L300, L301, L355, L358, L210, L211, L110, L111 printers too.
In my opinion, the print image problems are common at printers which have ink supply tank system, because a lot of air can accumulate in tubes and dampers. Air bubbles prevent ink from flowing. We can try the head cleaning and power ink flushing functions, but if they don't help, we should remove air from system manually. The lot of ink flushing moreover send a plenty of ink from all color to the waste.

if you do a cleaning, the colors all work, but suddenly 1 color stops working mid-print (and it happens constantly to the same color), this could be a sign that the print head is dying. there are inductors (they produce heat) which makes an air bubble so that it pushes ink out. these inductors can die or overheat (causing a lot of air) which doesn't allow ink to pass. if your CISS is dripping properly, then assume the print head is dying. physical clogs are different. you will have a proper constant flow, but certain lines will be missing. if those lines jump around or the ink stops flowing at all, the print head should be replaced.

Did it work on L850?

Some time ago, I put a CD-case-thick washer under the ink tank. It seems that with such a high ink level rise, much less air gets back into the dumper.

what could be the reason why the ink damper adapter in not storing ink? I have used a syringe to remove the bubbles in the black ink damper but after several prints it will be drained which causes the prinout to be blank. it seems like the ink damper can't store or refill ink.

If you can remove the bubbles with a syringe, it's likely that the damper and pipes are intact. It is probably the vacuum in the system that is causing the ink not to get from the tank to the dumper. And the vacuum could be caused by a clogged vent membrane. easyfixs.blogspot.com/2021/03/epson-l110-l111-l210-l211-l300-l301.html By the way, if I print a lot at once, I usually open the cap of the tank for a moment after printing to allow the pressure to equalize and not leave any vacuum in the system. Recently, I have also experimented with raising the ink tank about 3 cm higher to reduce the vacuum in the tubes and the dumper.

Which is the exact problem I'm having that no one seems to know anything about. And they don't sell replacement dampers for this piece of trash they call the Epson ET -2720

Good day I can't zip the ink using the syringe.

What's the reason when you take out the damper of the print head it starts getting empty from ink and fills with air on a Ecotank printer? You suck the air out with a syringe, fill it back with ink and the moment you remove the syringe air starts filling the damper again until you don't put it back ot the printer head? What's the reason for this? The printer cannot print any color as well.

I assume the transport lever on the ink tank is not locked, i.e. it is in the vertical position. On the back of the ink tank, each colour tank has a small ventilation hole. The vent is connected to the tank by a labyrinth. It is possible that this vent is clogged, creating a vacuum in the system and causing the dumper to suck air back. Try sucking the air out of the dumper by opening the ink tank cap. If this works, the vent is blocked.

Please, take off cap of the ink tank when use syringe. 4:20 If you do not remove the cap, the ink may return to the tank due to the vacuum. When I print a lot at a time, I usually take off the caps after printing for a second so that the pressure difference doesn't suck the ink back into the tank.

@@mcelec7603 could you please do a video showing this transport levers? If I understand right there is one for each single tank, but I really cannot find them and if they are closed, you may be right it may create vacuum in the system if clogged. I have used the syringe with open tank caps, sucking air from dampers, but it didn't improve the situation. After that the printer still doesn't hold the ink in the dampers, it goes back suck in the ink tanks. On the 4750 user manual there is nothing about transportation lever. I don't think it has it.

The bubbles are taking out but not finishing inside the damper, I did it several times, why is that so?

Some air in the dumper is not a problem.

@@mcelec7603 I did it again,. I filled the damper, cyan started printing, then suddenly stopped printing. I saw the damper, it was empty but rest of the dampers were full. Is there any vacuum problem?
@mcelec7603

@@AsharAlamSiddiqui Maybe the ink tube is broken, or there is a lever that can be used to close the ink tube, it is closed, or the ink tank vent is blocked.Try to put the ink tank up one cm, for example, to a thin book. I did it to a CD case, since ther are much less air bubble in the ink system.
