this really takes 120k investment + about 4/5 hours once you include pretreat and heatpressing to cure the pretreat. Or another 100k washing machine to pretreat garments in bulk.

Thank you for your comment. We are finding that many customers will dedicate time to pretreating and will use a conveyor dryer to dry the pretreat. Then press the shirt at the end to lay down the fibers. Other customers are buying already pretreated shirts. It all dependent on the best option for their business.

Quick question, how do you print with the cover open?

Thank you for your question. The cover is only open for demo purposes. We do not recommend having the cover open for any length of time unless you are doing the maintenance on the printer. When the cover is open this is allowing the printhead and its mechanical parts to be vulnerable to the dust and debris in the environment. You want to be sure that you keep the inside of your printer clean to maintain the health of your printer.

Do we need to pre-treat the t shirt before printing?

Hi Sundi, thank you for your question. Yes, you will need to pretreat any shirt that will be using white ink. All of the shirts in this video were pretreated ahead of time. Shirts can be pretreated and stored for a few months in a sealed container that keeps out moisture and dust.

What dryer are you using and do you go back to press your shirts afterward?

I would be willing to bet there are some prints out of registration. You should really put some grip pads on those platens if you're not going to use the hoop to hold the shirts down.

Thanks for the comment. Grip pads are optional and available. This video is more about production and in that environment, you should be able to slide the shirt on and off quickly. As for the registration, we didn't have issues with that since the printer has the auto-head height adjustment. We have more videos you can view that shows the shirts as they come off the. @@ITSuppliesINC i wasn't meaning registration based on the height adjustment. I was referring to the shirt moving on the platen while printing which can very well happen without the hoop or grip pads being used.

@@basikboy you’re correct to say this. Registration will suffer without the grip pad. You will see a white halo around the print edges because the shirt has moved. It takes just a hair. This is my experience operating several F2100s.
