Wolfie6020 kindly filmed a time lapse video of the Moon using his equatorial mount telescope. We see that the Moon does not "rotate" when filming with a single axis of rotation. The apparent rotation that we see as the Moon crosses the sky is simply due to the observer's changing viewing angle (perspective).

Thank you @Muzikgod , just been keeping myself busy with life in the real world and I feel that pretty much everything has been well debunked by all the debunking channels. I still keep an interest on social media and drop comments and links here and there but I'm not feeling too much motivation to make videos these days. Also, the changes made by RU-vid disabling email notifications of new uploads (and I can't even seem to get push notifications anymore) make it harder to keep up with the latest. At least I still get email notifications for comments :) I'll probably still post videos now and then, in fact I've got one I plan to make soon. Thanks for your concern and taking the time to comment. I hope all is well with you :)

Ooh! Look at that! Perfect. Of course if the moon was doing cartwheels, as the limited brain cells of clownfish and his ilk think, it would still do it in an eq mounted telescope. So much for their claims of having “put field rotation to bed”.

It does cartwheel 180° but only at the equator. I have a video at my channel entitled 'The Motion of the Moon is really complex'. Take a look.

@@robertlockwood3540 Wow this is old. My point was that it is the Camera that is cartwheeling, not the Moon. He does not seem to understand this, do you? :)

Could you do something effectively the same by aligning a telescope or camera with a compass before each shot? For those at home without an equatorial mount.
