Buena comparativa maestro, me gusta mucho cómo hace la comparativa al final colocando las tablas de diferencia, saludos desde Tampico Tamaulipas México.
Great job Steve, but I noticed your targets were much more at table level than across the center of the coils, bet your depth might get deeper at the center of all three coils pattern, glhh
I don't believe there is any type of variable that would change the fact that Minelab builds a far superior detector hands down. That wasn't even the Monster 1000 too lol. If he had run the Gold Monster in this test then the Deus and gold bug would've been severely blown out of the water! 💣💥🔥🔥
Every time you do one of these tests I'm sure you feel like you're opening a can of the. Lol, everyone wants you to test more detectors. Thanks again for sharing.
Hi Steve, Thanks for taking the time & effort to film, edit & post!!! Great Test. I have one question about the test... Was the Equinox-800 set to Single band 40kHz or ( ®Multi-iQ band with 40kHz?) Thanks in advance, Gerard
Gérard Angé Multi which is factory preset for gold mode. I did not change any of the settings the factory preset for gold to be fair with all detectors. We could go round and round changing settings. Lol
Thanks for the quick response! I was thinking ®Multi-iQ was the Magic inside the 800 and that is what set it apart from the rest of the MDs. Overall, It did win... but not by much... I guess the "target ID" is the real magic here ~ Being able to get into those tightly littered Ferrous areas and ID and pick out the goodies! I am waiting for MineLab or, Coiltek to release a 6" coil for the 800. ~ then it will be time to sell the CTX ! Cheers, G
I like my GB2, used it for years. But, Nox 800 my goto now and especially since the small coil came out. There is rarely a day I don't find gold jewelry or pieces of (most often pcs of since the grass monster eats a lot). What can be annoying after awhile is the tiny tiny pieces it finds. Small gold stud earrings or them earring retainer clips thingys.
Try one of the DEUS HF High Frequency coils for your next gold nugget comparisons so that you're doing an apples to apples comparison with the GB2 and Equinox which reach higher frequencies that the standard DEUS coil you used in the video.
Hey Gig, Appreciate you doing this test but you didn't mention what frequency you had each detector in. Only the modes. I would love to see the DEUS with the HF Coil and the 81 khz gold mode and how it does . Its good all of them picked up the gold . If you get ahold of a DEUS HF with the 81 khz be sure to test it against the GB2 with nugget or flake that wont register on a scale see if either pick it up.Thanks for taking the time to do this test.
This will be result when you use Deus factory programs. They are set for quiet and comfortable searching. WIth 34 cm coil and custum program will eat both of them together; Equinox + GB
Please do a step by step screen set up for gold with the NOX. I have this 800 in gold county and ready struggling finding anything. I’m sure it’s me. Thanks
Also testing over actual ground especially mineralized ground would have made a huge difference too. But at the end of the day Minelab always makes superior equipment in my honest opinion and experience
I just bought my nox 800 but I don't know what mode to use in field.....I test it and field 2 is bad. Can you give me some tips please as you have enough experience with nox 800. Thanks. Regards from east London. UK.
Hello!May i ask You some advise of Gold Bug 2 settings? Is it possible to use Gold Bug-2 to search for gold small jewelry ithems, rings or old gold coins ?
I have a gb2 I've been thinking about selling it to buy a equinox 🤔 How does the gb2 do for relic hunting? I know I'd have to dig everything that beeps pretty much like I do anyway Great video man 👍
I've been using the old school Nautilus DMC for years.. And it took me about one or so years to get used to hearing the tones.. But I just recently bought the Garrett 250 and it's practically brand new for only 70 bucks off of a facebook sell site.. I took it out today for 4 hrs an a farm in dinwiddie virginia and I found right much with it.. Not too bad for a cheap detector.. But I'll probably end up giving it to my daughter.. Lol..
Of course the equinox will win that test it ran on 40khz and the black on Deus is 18khz...the equinox struggled actually because there was nothing in it..u need to do the test on the 9" HF coil to be fair and the Deus will win allday long...did u even put the Deus on 18khz because u never said and that was the most important part of the test really...
Anthony Bussey I would love to try HF coil. I used the standard gold program with no changes on either machine. They both could do better with some program changes just wanted to be fair and use manufactures setup on both!
Gigmaster it wasn't fair tho mate ....18khz Vs 40khz isn't fair infact because the Deus was very close to it really shows how poor the minelab is...the Deus with the HF coil even in 30 khz would smack the nox
Is there anything else you want to complain about use this do that by the time your done with all your coils you would have 2 grand in that deus ... heres an idea my nox 800 and a whites tdi for the same price of your deus with all the other coils and i will whoop your ass .. stop crying deus is old just like your flip phone you got
It doesn't have to be in the center of the coil to pickup the signal.the coil itself has a 2" or greater depending on model and make.all the center of coil does is pinpointmeaning Target is directly below at what ever depth.thats no billdjit
heres a good test :).. how about putting a HF gold coil on the deus and see how well the eqinox peforms in an airtest against it :)..oops :)..someone beat me too it, but yeah, with a hf coil, the deus will make the equinox look pretty sad in comparison..
