She is out of this world. l have been listening her voice since l was a child and with age she like a rare wine only grew more in perfection. She is a Grand Diva of Sufi Kalaam Gayeki.
So true Michaelji I have been listening to her from childhood too. But I was introduced to 'Sakhi Aeree...' by my cousin and she before my eyes every time I hear anyone sing this 'Sakhi Aeree...'
@@harshabiliangady3211 kya sureeli awaz hai . Bhagwaan den hai. I haven't heard this mountain of music🎤🎼🎹🎶. Very much impressed. ThanQ sir who uploaded this gem on u tube
Harsha Biliangady The sad thing is much deeper because we share the same ancestors and the same ancient history. You see religion is truly at great fault here. Any so called religion which decides it’s for your betterment to separate you from your own family, ancestors, culture and history on the basis of something termed ‘Jahilya ought to be kicked straight out of the door. The sooner we realise that religion has little to do with god or the so called truth the healthier our mental, emotional, spiritual and secular wellbeing. That religions are just imperialistic tools for political machinations and instruments for sedition is clear in the formation of Afghanistan, Pakistan East Pakistan, the Kashmir conflict and the truncation of our ancient homeland and culture.
Harsha Biliangady it is but a mistaken though common cliché to state that music has no language or religion. Each music is a reflection of the soul of a culture. Indian music has a totally different sound and expression than that of Chinese or Maori music. If music were so universal then far far more people would listen to international music but the fact is they don’t! Because it sounds so different if not even unpalatable. Moreover armies usually have music corps and in times before the present, musicians would accompany soldiers onto the battlefields to enthuse their side. Have you never heard the common nursery rhyme ‘soldier soldier won’t you marry me with your musket fife and drum?’ Yes music can give an insight but the sense of unity through listening has to come from your own self. Please don’t forget that in certain religions such as Islam music is considered Haraam so I really can’t understand people like abida touting for their pride in their recently adopted religion.
Sakhi yeri aali, piya bin Yeri aali piya bin Kal na padat mohe, ghadi pal chhin din. Yeri aali piya bin… Jabse piya pardes gawan kinho… Sakhi, jabse piya pardes gawan kinho Ratiya katat mori taare gin gin Ratiya katat mori taare din gin Yeri aali piya bin… Sakhi yeri aali piya bin. Girl.. ever since he left I count every day Ever since he left to another place I spend the nights counting stars I spend the nights counting stars.
Yes Dear. That's the right lesson. 😂 For pakistanis. They emulate Hindus only but keep it different. Not her fault. That's the narrative drilled down hard. Jai BHARAT 😊
There are hundreds of best renditions of yaman but the main intention of any raga is not its technicality (taan, alankar, alap, harkat, gamak, meend, mukri etc) but the feelings and emotions that raga brings in the audience
Nilkanth Deshpande Just because you're from Dharwad, it doesn't mean that you think all female Hindustani classical singers look like Vidushi Dr Gangubai Hangal
I’ve been listening to Gangubai for a great many years now, over 20, and I must say that she would be the last person to come to mind! I’ll listen again at your behest!
Now a days people from South likes Hindustani classicals especially when eminent artists like madomAbida Parveen Mr.Chakraborthy,Joshiji and the like.My attention was focusing on aalaps and Parveenji full filled my ego to listen such loud aalaps, her style evokes keen attention on the voice quality with beautiful body language fetching of melodies from far and near her. My whole hearted Pranams.
Music is a possession of every soul. Like God is wholly for every one. Whatever you sing, sing with ALL your heart in it. There the essence is created. As sweet as Honey. As sweet as Abida's music.
Some people Kyu ye gayeki ko dislike karete he Karan nahi samaj me ata he. ye pata he ki us logo Ko kuchh din sunne se achha lagne wale geet hi pasanda ati he。
Audience are lost in magic done by abida parveen I have been listen the same Bandish from well known and different singers but none of them reached the height of parveen
Sakhi eri ali piya bina l’amour sans mon dieu, sakhi kalana parata mohae ghari pal nise dina, je suffrire parceque vous n’arrive ici et toujours je suis desolee, jabse piya pardes sidhare, quand Ilya n’exist dans l’monde, ratiyan mai guzaroon mai gina gina, je pense toujours quand Ilya me souviens!
Indian classical music Originated from samveda and bharatmuni natyashastra and used to perform in temple so it's used for Pooja (gods prayer) but now days this beautiful gift of Indian sanskriti is getting claimed by many so it's good for them to follow it but its our culture not others
This very famous and popular Bandish or composition is composed by the famous AGRA GHARANA MUSICIAN USTAD BASHIR AHMED KHANSAHAB "MANHAR PIYA" AI RI AALI PIYA BIN MOHE KAL NA PARAT HAI GHARI PAL CHHIN DIN. "MANHAR PIYA" PARDES GAWAN KINO RATIYAA'N KATAT HAI'N TAARE GIN GIN.
