It is June 3, 2021 and I still hooked up to Madz Eres Tu. It is actually my 7th review of your rendition. And everytime I tear up carried away by my emotions. It is breathtaking. Thank God for Madrigal Singers. Forever.
It was hard to believe that they did not win in the EGP 2017 in Tolosa. Still, my ears could clearly hear and eyes my could vividly see that they won the hearts of the audiences. I leave it from there.... Congratulations Madz!
Tonal quality they are the most prominent. But the difficulty of piece has played the in the competition. The piece madz have chosen has been sunged by previous contests and has become common. It was a fraction of technical,points. Nothing to worry, they are the best
@@ernestarellano9084 Vesna sang a very similar lineup from their 2007 egp stint. And since EGP does not publish scores, we can only speculate as to why Madz did not win. But then again, Madz is already considered by many as one of the best choirs. Let us be happy for the growth of the choral movement.
That is the madrigal singing tradition during the renaissance era: singers sat in a circle singing polyphonic music. The Philippine Madrigal Singers adopted and adapted that tradition
