I mean because it's a bullet game and no one would possibly be able to move that fast and put in and receive the information from a computer. Bullet seems pretty much foolproof. Maybe a couple moves but there's no way you could sustain that.
Cheating accusation aside, I like this format where you dub in your thought process after the game, because you don't always have to time to comment in-game.
Is there even such a thing as an ex cheater? When you've taken the pains to find ways to cheat in a blitz game, let alone bullet there's no way anyone can place any faith in your bs about playing clean. Also, to even give a cheater the time of day is wild, but maybe that's just me@@billjones8950
Imagine if Saveliy_Golubov had the inverse story: I was playing chess at 3am. Clear cheating, so I went on full tilt and jumped onto Counterstrike where I got accused of cheating. I'm flattered. I do think Eric is playing legit, but this is where my brain goes. :P

I imagine Golubov had it the other way around: I was playing Counterstrike at 3am, and I was accused of cheating. Banned shortly after, I went on to play some bullet chess and you know what? I ran straight into cheating Eric Hansen. He ate my rating! I hate him so much! 😁
You gotta have ego level 5000+ or be delusional to be accusing one of the best bullet players on the planet of cheating against you, especially when you are IM v GM.
to be able to process stockfish lines during a bullet game playing every move in less than a second would be a million times more impressive than the chess being played
This guy tries to flag you in every match and then tells you to 'just enjoy the game' He's probably playing 200 ELO above the rating he would have without flagging opponents and then cries when doesn't win on time
Eric is just a deadly opponent for him - simply a lightning fast player as well but with more accurate gameplay. The guy has no viable win condition whereas he probably could beat a stronger, slower player like Fabiano.
Please don't use the computer. I understand that you can't do anything except chess, but try to play on your own. I also understand that you will never be banned here because of good relations with the administration, but try to enjoy the game)
So an *international master* got tilted so badly over the fact that, quite literally one of the best *Grandmasters* in the world, in bullet obliterated him so bad he had to go to the DMs to cry (presumably after reporting him for every loss his whiny ass took). 🤣🤣🤣
So there are browser extensions that can just play the moves for you, so move speed doesn’t really prove someone’s innocence because people can use bots that play like 2 great moves a second, but Eric is just not a cheater. He’s proven that he’s good enough to not have to cheat to play at that level.

Magnus often bullets online with some audience, it's really stupid to accuse Magnus of cheating, because his performance while playing alone or with audience or on the board is the same
Hes already hovering the mouse over the piece hes gonna move while waiting for the opponent to move. How could an enginge suggest a move without knowing what the opponent will play?
there is an option on SFish, you toogle the predict option and it suggest the best move for the most likely move to be played at certain elo, Eric is clearly using that, don't support him (I just totally made that up)
The number of cheating accusations in Chess is what made me stop playing. Then I returned and said, ok, I'm not playing for money, so who cares. I only know I'm not cheating and that's all that matters. You'd have to live in an alternate reality to accuse Eric of cheating, if you play chess, you should know who Chessbrah is.
It's funny, I received a "game ban" about 5 years ago from Valve, for CSGO for something called "phone sharing". I traded somebody and bought him CSGO on a new account and used my cell phone to lock the account in case he didn't follow through with it, knowing i could always just reclaim the account. Everything went smooth, but about a week later I get a game ban for phone sharing. Apparently it's against the rules to use the same number to secure multiple CSGO accounts. I guess it's an anti-smurfing measure. I've probably logged a total of 3 hours in CSGO in my entire life, I don't even play the game. Yet here these guys are blatantly running around with all manner of cheats, and no ban. Well done Valve.
Not saying they arn't cheating - but both scenes are explainable - the fence wallbang: he prob jumped over the fence and then banged you. The T Spawn wallbang - actually pretty common position to wallbang a couple of years ago -from ct heaven to t spawn - stairs. works the other way around aswell.
I understand that he was banned for sandbagging which is a weird charge for someone who had 2681 FIDE elo. I personally doubt this kind of player would cheat to get online rating. Now he is IP-banned for multi-accounting. Just to clarify, in 2017 he was in top-50 Blitz players in the world, had FIDE elo of 2681, which is by the way higher than Daniel Naroditsky has ever had. He is the champion of Russia (7 times), European champion (twice), was in top-3 in chess Olympiad (twice). In Internet games he was able to beat Magnus, Nakamura, Caruana and Nepo. Dear Lichess, please stop ruining the career of the young streamer and an extremely talented chess player. Maybe you could give him a second chance and allow him to create an official account under his name. He says he is unable to get any feedback from Lichess mods.
Dude, Eric, why are you not playing chess anymore? I started playing chess again because of you. Your first videos playing bullet, getting tilted, and throwing your chairs around your room, got me back in the game. I’ve been watching your games for a while now and there was no cheating in those games. Every player has a chess DNA, something that makes their games very recognizable, and those 7-8 are typical Eric, the destroyer, Hansen kind of games.

I have a question, isn't it significantly harder to cheat in bullet than any other mode? I mean all the cheaters I've ever seen use a second board to play along that's running the game and the computers show the best moves, but you still have to make those moves, and I imagine the time it takes to see the move and make would kill your bullet time. I remember I caught a few cheater against me in 5min, and when they were cheating it took them like 20 seconds to make move that would otherwise take 2 seconds.

Like lets say you cheat and win, but you didn't really win because you're not the one playing, and you can't improve in rating because your rating is made irrelevant since you can't actually play that way in real life without a machine doing it for you. Like I played a guy today who obviously cheated, and it's obvious because every single move he made was under 2 seconds, except for the 2 moves where he blatantly cheated, which were both completely different than anything else he did and also took 17 and 34 seconds to do.

One of my friend(can write programs) told me this:(and he said there is many other idea) A program checking the steps between you and opponent. Data go to other program wich program tell you(tiny thing in your ear) very step what comp would step. And you can decide if you step yourself or listen comp step. And of c a good player only need 1 or 2 steps from the comp to win against stronger opponent. And a good player knows wich step is possible for human and of c not step inhuman ways...
I say cheating. You and I played during Covid and you destroyed me. I’m around 950 rating. I could understand “maybe” losing to you but you had a pretty decisive win. Humm….
