Great song, thanks for posting. Growing up in Jersey in the 70's they use to use a cut of this to advertise for Raceway Park in Englishtown got me hooked on this tune.

I was living in Santa Monica in 78 and I missed this perfect performance.

Not counting Derek & Dominos tunes, "The Core" is my favorite Clapton tune - nice to have a live recording of it from so close to the release date - thx for posing

Scott Walker Oh yea, I've definitively heard this version many times with Me. Mercy Levy. I dated Eric Levy for 2 yrs. Ironic huh??

I seen them in Vancouver on this (1st) leg of his N. American tour. By the way, Marcy Levy was the only female singer in the band in Vancouver and I think for that tour.
