I had this on a cassette as a kid, CD as a teen, and now online as an adult. Damn good song that still goes hard in 2023!!!💯💯💯

A lot of guitar players can play 1000 notes per minute, but here is a guy that can give you goose bumps with one note. He's right, it's in the way that you use it.

It's like the guitar is an extension of his body. He's been my favorite singer/guitarist since I was 14, and I'm almost 69. I love how humble he is, too.

There’s not a single person who captivated the 80’s like Slowhand did. One cannot think of the big 80’s without thinking Clapton. I love how he grew with & through the decades. From lay down sally in the 70’s to forever man in the 80’s to tears in heaven in the 90’s. There are way too many to list from each decade, but you get the point.

I prefer this Era of Clapton over his Cream era. His aggression is more articulated here. The chops are tighter, and the tone is to die for. This style of his inspired plenty of blues-rock artists.

Clapton was so HOT when he was younger. He's my ALL-TIME favorite musician and I've always had an extreme crush on him. I'm 66 now and I grew up listening to his music. Thank you for the memories and good times, Eric.....love you, Baby!!

I am, I am! You two above me asked the same question that I was going to post! Obviously, we all love Eric Clapton and forever man is one of his best! Do we have any Cream fans here? I was a big Cream fan and I was only 11 years old when I started listening to them. The reason for this is because I have a brother who was 8 years older, and a sister who is 12 years older. My brother was more of a rocker than my sister, but we all loved different genres of music! I hope all of you have fond memories like me!❤😊🎉

Clapton & Collins dominated the 80s relentlessly, they also did work on each others albums, what a unit they turned out to be as i called them CAPTAIN & CRUNCH

This is song #2 on our marriage soundtrack album. We hadn't been dating too long when I realized she was the one and I truly wanted to be her forever man. There were some bumps and turns, but we've made it through over 30 years together so far!
