This video from an orchestra night in 1991 has been out of circulation for 30+ years, only mentioned on a few traders lists from back in the VHS days. The video is incomplete (67 minutes), missing Concerto For Electric Guitar, Layla and Sunshine Of Your Love.
All thanks to 'EC Collectables' for sharing his collection with SAP. Thanks to the taper as well. Filming stealth inside RAH in 1991 must have been a challenge. For that reason it is also a hard watch, but not only do we get some great shots of a very special night, but the audio track it self is considerable better than anything out there.
This is what it is all about! Time is passing, and some EC recordings might already be lost forever. Our goal is to ensure rare and unique recordings and films with Eric Clapton, are unearthed and shared for free with fellow EC music fans, before they are used as landfill by people not knowing the archival value these recordings possess.
