@@ericclapton8723 No...THANK YOU...you have been INSTRUMENTAL in my 17 yrs of Recovery...THANK YOU...GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS...MUCH LOVE❤️ Diane from NY state
The boy still has it. Great show and musicianship. A shout out to Nathan East, the rock-steady sideman. His discography and the folks he's played with is impressive.
I've seen Eric about 12 times now. Just went to see him in Chicago on September 12 and it was another great concert. He still has it and I hope he comes back again.
I feel the same! I saw him in 2004, and was so grateful to see him in 2021 in New Orleans… On this tour, I just caught him in Columbus. I’m going to try to go once on everything our from here on out. We’re lucky to have the chance. How cool was Tearing Us Apart as an opener?!
I seen Eric 4 times & each time has been amazing. Saw him for the Journeyman album tour at the Mid-South Colosseum in Memphis. Saw him at The Pyramid for the Nothing But The Blues tour, World Tour in 2000 & had SECOND ROW....that night was amazing !!! Saw him for the Pilgrim album tour in Dallas too. E C is my all time favorite rock guitarist 🎙🎸
Omg! So jealous! I first saw him in 1974 at the old Boston Garden! He was phenomenal then, and still is at 77 years young! I share a birthday with Eric! I’m 11 years younger and have always felt a connection with him. We are so very alike, it’s scary! I wish I could have seen him in Boston, but I couldn’t afford the tickets! Thanks for posting this because I got to at least see it online! He is so smooth! I wish he had done, “Let it Rain,” my favorite song but that’s okay, it will always be with me! Great job, Mr. Clapton!❤
We can be jealous of each other I wish I could have seen young Eric but In my life time this was the only show I had a chance to see him. If I'm telling the truth wish I could have seen them all lol
I can only think that his racist comments that he made in the 1970s, are blocking any knighthood. It's believed that the writer Roald Dahl was blocked from a knighthood for his anti-Semitic comments.
Royal Family is not so "royal." They are inbreeding thieves of other countries' resources, including Africa's diamonds. I'm glad Clapton isn't knighted.
A few of us saw Eric in Boston last year.. My first and only time, 60 yrs old now and some of the songs he belts out still make my eyes water !! The best video I have ever listen to was Eric and Joe Bonamassa live from Royal Albert Hall singing " Further on Down the road" Great youtube take if you like 2 great guitarist playing off each other .
All the days of the rest of my life The Tone of the guitar will move me to my soul. Thank You Eric. Also Thanks to the person that recorded this. It made me smile.
This was great. Feels like we're standing on the side of the stage watching a full show rehearsal. Only legends like Clapton can just show up in street clothes...strap on his guitar and and play a show with no special effects, special lighting or pyro-technics and put on an unforgettably great show in 2022.
Our Generation Had The Best Music & Musicians Ever On This Planet Earth!! & Clapton Is An All Time Great. So Glad I Am & Was Always A Part Of His Music** Thank You Eric, Forever***Peace, Love & Music**
I don't often do this, But you seem very inspired by my music, in my littlest way of showing my fans appreciation, I'm giving you a chance to know me personally by providing you with my private official email
I was at this show as well and the solo in I Shot the Sheriff was AMAZING starts about 32:30. So glad I was able to see EC! I've been lucky enough to have seen all three Yardbirds guitarists... Page, Beck and Clapton live. Thank you for this document of that evening!
I cannot tell you how much i love this man and his decades of music genius. He has lifted me out of my gloom to a place of elation and bliss. God, he’s my guitar hero! Thank you for this video, it has made me a very happy 74 year old Eric Clapton super fan!😊
My Wife and I traveled 7 Hours to see the show, so glad we went! Eric Clapton is a legend, but man that band around him was superb and Jimmy was on fire too!
I traveled from Cleveland so only 2 hours. I almost did not go. I am so glad I went. Fantastic concert. This was my 7th time seeing him. The first concert was my favorite in 1990. This concert was probably my 2nd favorite. He was on fire especially on Badge and Crossroads. Doyle's guitar in Tearing Us Apart is fantastic.
I saw Gary Clark Jr a couple days after this show. Obviously he is very good as well but when you here them so close together you understand why Eric is still the best guitarist. His tone is terrific riffs are so perfectly timed and so much emotion in it. Clapton's voice is overlooked. He does not need a light show and comes out in clothes that look like he pulled them out of the hamper and wears tennis shoes. He has nothing to prove. LOL.
What a night! the band was tight as hell and Clapton delivered.. each solo was incredible. Grateful he stopped by Detroit for a phenomenal night. Great job on the video!!
Gee, no flashpots, no flashing lights, no nearly naked gals writhing,,,,just talent. Thanks again for showing how it's done, Mr. Clapton and crew! Folks know the real stuff when they hear it.
😂 U missed Claptons career...He's a talented Junkie..like most of the rest your inferring...Crue is the best at strippers tips Dicks lights lasers explosions etc..Ol Bobby DEAL from Terre Haute IN is a seriously talented lead 🎸 player...has a plethora of blues material..throughout Motleys catalog..inspired by Cream Beck Hendrix etc..
Eric Clapton is a great guitar player, a very good singer and a very, very good man. He made me fall in love with the electric guitar when I was 15. I have huge respect for him, and it has grown a lot after he took his stand with Morrison. They were the only two.

Thanks for sharing. I've been a big fan of Eric, Nathan, Paul & Doyle B.II(the last two came to join as Eric's bandmates later) and the other great musicians/support chorus in this band. Eric & I are of the same age & I still like rocking with Eric's good old rock'n'roll band. Cheers to them.
I never seen clapton in concert ,but I alway wanted too see him,he is no.2 guitar player of all time, but I alway's thought he should be a number 1,from the start,he really a living legend,in rock music, also I too would like to thank you for recording this, because I never get to see him in concert .
I'm sooo glad to have this recording. I'm really enjoying seeing Clapton live (never have in person). It looks like the person who filmed this had a great seat, close to the artists. Too bad the bass player had the upright in front of the star of the show for so many tunes, though....
Nathan East is a talent in his own right and he and Eric have played many times together. But that's just a part of this angle. Out in front it wouldn't be noticed. They are some great talented folks. Never get tired of Claptons music.
I was at this show, and I was surprised when he did tears in heaven, knowing he said previously he would not sing the song again, but I guess I was wrong, this was my first time seeing Eric, and I hope he comes back next year!!
As soon as I read your comment,,my guess was that it must be a solo in I Shot - and sure enough 😄. He absolutely smashes this song. One of my, if not THE, favourite EC live tracks. The way he builds it up. And Steve Gadd's drumming, ever so slightly behind the bear in only the way he does that! Have you seen the Hyde Park version? Def worth checking out.
I feel like he hadnt finished that solo but cos it looked like he gave the nod they went to the ending when he was still very much soloing along . I may be wrong. He was on fire
Thank you for that opening Eric thank you my brother you will have been and you always will be my Guitar Hero God bless you my friend thank you for that opening
I was thinking the same thing about Layla it’s just to good a solo. Little trivia Dwayne Allmond played the slide guitar on the original studio version of that song
Pretty sure Bramhall is playing a Heritage guitar (the 335 copy). Made at 225 Parsons Street, Kalamazoo MI. That's the old Gibson factory where they made all the Les Pauls and acoustics before Gibson moved to Nashville (electrics) and Montana (acoustics) in 1985. I was there before they moved. Awesome factory. Photo's of guitar gods everywhere. Les Paul (naturally), Jimmy Page, BB, Chuck, et al. Heritage makes some pretty good guitars. I have a 575 (an ES-175 copy - think Steve Howe).
Thank You for this video here, Clapton is still on top of his Playing, I am glad to see him playing with Doyle and Nathan, I could not afford the extreme cost of these tickets for this show, So i have to watch this video, and Pretend I was there, When I saw Cream play at the Grande Ballroom back in the day, The Tickets were, 3.75 Cents, all of these ticket selling companies, and Scalpers make me sick, Cousin Figel
Somehow Jeff Beck is managing to keep tickets affordable in 2022. Less than $100 for row L on the floor center. Of course the official seats sold out and now resellers are asking 3x for similar seat. But EC was $400 for a decent seat in 2019 direct from Ticketmaster. Resellers were much more. I just won’t pay that much for any artist esp when I’ve seen them so many times over the years for reasonable ticket price
his legacy is endless...total joy to the world....thank you SIR...saw him with Muddy in the 70's ..said he had Muddy adopt him...said it on stage..we all wigged out....at Crossroads '04...with J. J. Cale..... life fine tuned by Slowhand

It's amazing. He sounds just as good as he did 25 years ago, if not better. When he leans into and gets into it and really let's it all hang out nobody can touch him. That MSG "After Midnight" with Winwood is a fine example. Like The Killer said, "Follow that, motherfucker." LoL.
