I'm a vocalist ...this is what we call a "singy song" ... it is absolute joy for the vocalist... but not so easy for guitar..."if i could change the world ...You would think that i was really something good" ..Probably the most relatable lyric every put to paper.. Beautiful work, Mr Parks... You are def. In your authentic purpose. thanks Tim

Tim we share a similar story. I worked in Hollywood for years doing small studio production and had seen Dean around town over a twenty five year period but we never meet. Back in 2009-2010 I had a Guytron 100watt head and the two open and closed back 2x12 Cabs for sale in Craigslist O.C. Dean called one day and said he wanted to check it all out. He drove down to our house and I suddenly realized Dean Parks was in my living room and I had to demo the amp for him. Thank God the wife got a picture of us together .He is a lovely man and is so humble and down to earth. He used the new rig on the Crosby Stills Nash tour I believe.

Jeez. Some of the names casually dropped in the discussion are the heaviest you could hire. Nathan East, JR Robinson, Greg Phillinganes...then "a mutual friend James Newton Howard". As in legendary composer James Newton Howard who co-composed the Dark Knight soundtrack with Hans Zimmer.
