Some guys change their songs around in tempo and style and it sounds awful. But Clapton? He can do any of his songs in any style and it sounds amazing.
Absolutely one of his very best songs... Nathan East put the icing on in a way that no other bassist could. The combination of these two artists is outrageous! I would love to do the low notes for Eric just once... any song! - JJ

you dont have to play fast fingers in guitar playing,.because fast fingers will take you only hours of practice,.but the feeling of blues music will take you years and even decades to get thru it..blues is easy to play but it is hard to feel..its not how fast your finger is,it is how you play the note..thats why eric clapton is i think one of the best guitarist in the world.

Guitar superstar Eric Clapton incited his legal team on a 55-year-old German widow. The multi-multi-millionaire obtained an injunction against the municipal employee from Ratingen / Germany. The ridiculous reason: Her late husband had legally bought the CD "Eric Clapton - Live USA" in a department store 35 years ago (1986). In July 2021, Gabriele P. took the CD from her husband's estate and offered it on eBay for 9.95 euros. The lady reports: “After just one day, the offer was removed from eBay. They told me Eric Clapton had complained. The CD is said to have been recorded illegally. I received a warning first, then the ruling. But my husband bought the CD in a department store, not somewhere on a black market." The amount in dispute is 10,000 euros. Gabriele P. should therefore take on around 2,000 euros in costs for lawyers and the court. If she violates the injunction, she faces a fine of 250,000 euros or even six months in prison. The court will pronounce the verdict on December 15, 2021. Thank you, Mr. Clapton, for having no mercy for that lady... Very surprising: Clapton has been in the music business for decades, and there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of bootlegs from every decade. In the current case there has never been a lawsuit by Clapton against the producer of the bootleg, not even against the German department store "Kaufland". It is therefore all the more surprising that the superstar now considers it necessary to sue a private person over just one single CD.

Completely effortless from one of the all time greats if not the greatest. Never seen a guitar in total harmony with one of it's masters. Simply fabulous to watch.
I was in England in the winter of 68-69 and Eric was on top of the charts with Cream. As I recall the Blind Faith album had just come out. Here we are so many years later and Eric is still on top of the charts. A truly gifted artist! Fabulous!
