Cocaine was written by singer-songwriter J. J. Cale and recorded in 1976. The song was popularized by Eric Clapton after his version was released on the 1977.
This song has always been one of my favorite Blues songs of all times and it was one the few songs i attempted to play back when I was in High School when I was learning how to play the guitar. :)
