Saw him in San Francisco, @ the time they weren’t Oldies but he sang this and it was phenomenal just a man his guitar, To see him was wild guitar was so awesome to look and to watch
He has been over playing in his old age? Too bad he can't be like the old days, like Jimmy Vaughhan. Jimmy is the perfect example of simplicity and not wasting notes....
You can't fight over taste, but I think comparing Clapton to Vaughan is like comparing apples to oranges. They're totally different. I do like Jimmie Vaughans raw and simple style, really going back to the roots of the blues. He always kept that style. On the other hand, I like Claptons versatility and taste, the atmosphere and tension he builds. Musicians are all different as they should be.
Please Sir. Eric, put out this clown out of stage...Doyle Braham can play sometimes!..but his ego is monumental, all the time looking for atention.... dressed like boy george, ....moving around ...waving.....conecting and disconecting his guitar....etc...etc....alll the time !!!!! please Sir. Eric put him out...call Andy Fairwetherlow !!!!
He can only play well some of the time? Lol. Doyle is a very good guitarist. When I listen to Clapton live I sometimes listen just for Doyle's riffs. He has a unique sound I think may because he plays with a guitar strung up side down.
