Dates given for this are inconsistent in different youtube videos. I don't know what's right, but I lean towards November 18, 1989 because the introductory words make it sound like this is the first performance of the concerto, plus that's the date on the CD.

The themes throughout are so passionate. Sure wish this would get a proper release... Goosebumps....

Well, on June 23rd your wish will be granted. “The Definitive 24 Nights” will be out in multiple formats including a Super Deluxe 6-CD/3-BluRay box set, so you’ll be getting A LOT MORE than the original “24 Nights” release included.

Just this LAYLA Orchestra clip is worth the price! It doesn't change the fact that I lost respect for Eric during the pandemic, but I will have to buy this set as this was (to me) his most creative and inspired. The first song I played live in 1968 was Sunshine of Your Love, so I have been a long time fan of his MUSIC.

@@ChrisNeufeldMusic been waiting literally half my life for this release specifically for the concerto. I never thought I’d live to see the day. Clapton has consistently said he didn’t like the quality and wouldn’t release it. I’m so happy he changed his mind. This was the first concert my late dad ever took me to, so special meaning.
