First public performance of the Concerto for Electric Guitar by Eric Clapton and Michael Kamen at a charity gig for Parents for Safe Food in 1989 at the Royal Albert Hall
I recorded it off the radio too, I was absolutely spellbound! That old cassette is one of my most treasured possessions and I’m so happy to have found it on RU-vid now. So beautiful.
First time I heard the first time this was played. I was at the 3rd and last night in 1990 and 2nd night in 91. I have to say it improve over its performance. I just aEric would record it properly even at his age now.
I wonder when does the Billy Connolly Parents For Safe Food video comes out, especially on RU-vid? Just out of curiousity apart from this video I'm seeing.
try www.discogs.com if it is available and it looks as though this waz a compact disc as indicated on bottom right of photo of cover, they would be more likely than not to help locate a copy as they are a non membership global service. they also can help find thoze old rare albums that are not in print as they connect people with shared interests in music and other things. later, bby👋bby THE 📒PAD🏡 SLD C
