To me he always played emotionally, even it’s just one note. I feel like he always felt everything he played and it comes through. It’s his Blues. His playing is unmistakable to me, I instantly know it’s him when I hear it. He’s still able to get me a little misty when closes his eyes while he solos and soars, trying so hard to get it out. I always loved how he built solos. Watch the whole concert if you can, it’s out there. Ya, he seems a little tired, maybe it’s a one off, maybe it’s his age, maybe he wasn’t ripping off the best solos of his life on every song but, he’s still the best.

Yeah I passed on seeing Elton this year. He's my favorite but his voice isn't great, he plays the same setlist all the time and tickets are outrageous. I'd still love to see Clapton again before he quits. Only saw him in 1998. Sad to see these legends fade.

@@RP-fv3fh Actually, he is a big Trump supporter and so are many other guitarists out there, like Jimmy Vaughan who I know personally, but they are afraid to compromise their fan base so they don't say it out loud in public. Clapton on the other hand could care less as he has too many fans. Anyone who prefers "Biden" is a total brainwashed fool with zero common sense. I like the way some say they "hate" trump. They don't even know the guy so that is a stupid statement. I do not hate Biden, he seems like a guy I could hang out with, but I hate what he has done to our country and the world. For me it's not relevant if I would respect a person or not...I respect Clapton because of his music. I'm not interested in his politicial view. It's the same like with Roger Waters. I personally don't like if they drift to the political view. For me it's absolutely miserable for the US that only two persons (Biden&Trump) are in focus. Both are not good for the country and the world, it's like getting Pest or Cholera
