I still have his first CD that was released when he was a teenager. Back then you could hear him on Rock 103 in Memphis. A prodigy for sure.

If you don't love playing your guitar for the sake of playing it. You'll burn it after hearing and watching Eric Gales play. I've always known he was a monster. But when he got religion, sweet Jesus. He's been playing on another plane since. He really became the best after those demons (drugs) left his life.

Standing in front of speakers complaining it is too loud...hmmmm. How about "as I was right in front of the speakers there is some lens distortion from the bass". Thank you for capturing this.

I have stood in front of speakers countless times and not had issues yet here the output from the kick drum and bass where almost intolerable. The sound guy was not doing his job properly

I so dig Eric Gales playing on this cruise! It seems less freaky (forgive me for saying) and therefore heaps more accessible to the masses and my ears! Again sorry for the slight criticism. I think even hendrix had to take off the freakiness to make his albums soar and stay within the limits for the masses.
