Mann Brudda I’m big ole proud of you fam. From a dude who slept a few bed’s away from you (E- Dorm) … I seen you grind, work, train and stay dedicated first hand for a few years. When I came you was the champ in your division. A few years laters when I left you was the champ in multiple divisions and multiple belts… you, Dustin, Brock, Herc. This interview caught me off guard. I remember going to his fights downtown in a packed house at the Belle. The only boxer i actually made a point to go see live. Was by far my favorite boxer throughout boxing. The fight he had against Pearson I remember the disappointment on Mayweathers face. I knew he was going to win. It was good to see someone from Baton Rouge putting on for the city in a major way. I'll never forget running into him at Sammy's Grill, with his wife and twin baby boys. The first time I was ever star struck. At 24 years old he truly represented success to me. I had to ask for a pic. I'm glad he's doing fine. Great Video! 💪🏾💯🔥

I remember watching him at fights. We fought on different teams, and different weight classes, but I always had major respect for him, and so did his opponents. One fight in particular, he came in wearing a tee shirt that said, "so easy a caveman can do it" like the old insurance commercials. I said to him, "is it that easy, champ?", and he says, "watch.". He proceeded to get in the ring, and demolished his opponent, without even breaking a sweat. After all the fights, they used to feed all us inmates, and I saw him...he said, "I told you.".😂 I was a fan ever since. Eric is a true class act. 💯

I respect Eric so much he reminds me of Matthew Saad Muhammad with lots of dedication and focus. Eric has tons of skills to become great in boxing. I wish he was in the sport younger because he had the similar path with gervonta davis. Only difference is tank had coach calvin that guided him versus Eric didn't have that path given to him. I wish Eric nothing but the best to achieve whatever accomplishments you make in boxing and enjoy a post career path. Salute from albany new York by way of wimauma florida

I love it, E ❤️Can’t wait to watch it in full. I’m super proud of your achievements. Your story will touch many & yes they will see, if you can do so can they. Your TENACITY is everything and for that alone, I’m forever proud of you. Since children we knew fighting was in you. You remember slap boxing lol in the bricks. I mean it’s crazy your cell mates screaming, I just want to be able to say I know you & your childhood friends screaming the same. That’s E Bryan little brother. Keep striving, keep pushing & pressing, god was always in your corner. You made E, you made it! When you stand in that mirror pay yourself on the back & keep giving your offsprings what you never had. Again, I’m proud of you! It’s only up from here.

Ok first, all praises are due to the Most High. He allowed you to return out of the fire 🔥 Obviously your brother is more of a hard head and a lot tougher but in the wrong way. He went down for murder and had to stay while being allowed to walk you to the gates where the fam was waiting on you. Boxing is the toughest of all sports so we already know you are a warrior. God loves your courage and now he’s building your faith for these next missions he has for you. Much respect to you Brother Eric! Last I wanna say, Floyd was hot you beat one of his fighters. He probably lost a few dollars too. 😂🥊 Also, you are proof that the boxing programs in prison really work and are needed. Years ago they removed them from California prisons for an example. Much props to the BFA! 👑🏁🫡

Lmao nice try at 12:08 when Spike TV listed his age at 22 👀 instead of 32 🤣 not too many guys can do 12, 13 years in prison and make it to their 12th pro fight still at age 22. Either way, great story and grand fortunes to him in retirement.

I gotta tip my hat off to you man , that ending speaks volumes to me and truthfully gives me chills because I know I can do what you've accomplished if I stay disciplined and really want it. I was an athlete who boxed growing up but loved fighting and eventually at 18 got arrested and did 10 years for armed robbery in California and man most the time all I had was training and that punching bag but what we didn't have made me only more hungry my brother was fighting and paved the way for me in boxing while I was down but when I got out it was like this sense of life that only people like us understand like I can't miss out on this second chance no matter what because there's people still in there who wish they can just taste this freedom for one day one hour man. just gotta say thanks for being relatable ima definitely reach out fam take care @therealbanditos
