This fight ruined Zahir Raheem career even though he won the fight against a ATG in Erik Morales he was blacklisted from boxing after this fight no one wanted to fight him

Though a shadow of his former self by this stage, Erik Morales is `still` (since his beginning) my favorite boxer of all time. Warrior, tough, skilled af, relentless, exciting, didn`t give a f**k, etc. He had it all.

“Shadow of his former self” 😂 He just beat a prime Pac before this fight.

Stop making excuses he had just beat PAC man and he's only 29yrs old, the truth is he has inferior skills when compare to Raheem plan and simple 😂

@@CHRISTIANNWO this fight was in 2006, we all know he beat a prime Marcos Maidana in 2011 then became a 4 division champion the very next fight.

@@reymarq8376 Morales was a guy who loved giving fans a show, he would constantly get into back to back wars. After he beat Pacquiao, he lost 4 fights in a row before retiring. He wasn't training like he was supposed to, or rather, he couldn't train like he was supposed to: his body was overworked. Years later, he did catch a 2nd wind, but even then he was just a shadow of his former self. I still enjoyed watching his fights though.

Raheem was not blacklisted. He didn’t continue his momentum. He lost to acelino freitas right after this

Erik won against Diaz though.......it was a horrible decision indeed. Erik was coming from the victory against Manny here......he was tired of boxing and cut the weight at that point.

It’s called technical boxing, and Raheem outboxed him for 12 rounds
@pitercrauch
@pitercrauch Месяц назад
@@decidingpaper6324They always justify cowardly boxers. The truth is that Erik came out clean without any blows and they say that he lost when the other boxer spent the fight running. If he didn't want to fight, he better look for another sport.
@decidingpaper6324
@decidingpaper6324 Месяц назад
@@pitercrauch there’s a difference between running and outboxing your opponent. Outboxing is what Raheem did here, and running would be what Shakur did vs de los Santos
@pitercrauch
@pitercrauch Месяц назад
@@decidingpaper6324This is boxing, not a marathon. If you're afraid, don't get in the ring. You're afraid of hitting and getting hit. That's why Erik is a Hall of Famer and the other one is just any Gayweather.
@decidingpaper6324
@decidingpaper6324 Месяц назад
@@pitercrauch well, boxing’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon, and conditioning is important in the ring. You often see prospects blow away their opponents in one or two rounds only to get rinsed when they step up or fight someone who can take them past that.
