Mind you guys that Italy is nowhere near accepting Arm Wrestling as a Sport on official level as Russia or Georgia or others countries. We have had several really good guys, but so far Ermes is the most outstanding one.

I know an Argentinean mechanic who is of Italian descent and nobody could beat him in arm wrestling even a huge 6'8 guy, he is just naturally strong as a bull. Don't underestimate the Italians lol

This gives you a hint how a normal strong guy armwrestles, then how a multiple champion powerlifter with 22 inch arms Larry Wheels wrestles, and then an entire different dimension of how the top 10 guys like Ermes wrestle.

No, you're wrong, there's at least 50 guys who are in the same league as Ermes, and below them you have world champions in lower weight categories who can beat Larry quite easily too, then on the top of everyone you have Levan and Vitaly who are in their own league right now, and just below them you have Genadi, Chaffee, M Todd and Devon who probably can beat Ermes too. It's crazy how far a typical gym bro is from these guys, now imagine how far a man who doesn't train is. Absolutely mind blowing.

"Endurance wasn't that good, TBH". Well, neither is Matt's endurance. As far as I know, Matt isn't known to have high endurance either. Maybe I'm incorrect in that assumption, but I can't recall a match where Matt showed upper levels of world-class endurance. I think it's because, much like Bagent, his style is explosive and relies heavily on his position after the hit.

@maxxxmodelz in an Italian interview, Ermes talking about the match against Matt said that the rules of Wal were very different to the European ones he was used to, the match went quickly and was unable to adapt to Matt's "technical incorrectness" and that in the backstage there are also videos Ermes beats him with embarrassing ease ... years have passed and it was one of the first matches ... the current level of strength of Ermes is unattainable he is in the top 6 in the world things have changed a lot since....

It is even different than just working grippers. I've been messing around with some grip strength and arm wrestling based position, and my hand looks different in just a month. Like that muscle that Larry has between the thumb and the forefinger, I am getting that.

Matt is definitely in some trouble here. This version of Ermes looks wildly bigger and stronger than the version Matt faced before. I think Matt does not have enough time to prepare this time compared to what Ermes has had, and clearly, Ermes is at another level of strong now. Too bad Matt's endurance isn't a higher level. Coach Ray said that's really the only weakness in Ermes' game right now.
