Definately one of my favorite actors, absolute class act and professional all the time, I only wish Hollywood would recognize all that he's done for them over the years and give him a lifetime achievement award or something.
I had the unbelievable honor of having this man CALL ME AT HOME yesterday. My mother worked with him for a year, many years ago, at the Barter Theatre, and I was finally able to get a message and pictures to him. Not only did he remember my mother, but he has invited me and my family out to dinner when he comes to central PA next week to start his new film, "Another Harvest Moon." He REALLY DOES SOUND like that, even over the phone! He also told me how awful Hollywood is today.
What a humble man, he insists on being called by his first name...unlike some of the stuck up stars we have today. There's a lot of actors out there today who don't have half the talent he does.
What a great guy !!! When I see him, always with a smile on his face, I start to believe in peace on earth. Hope his still around 91 more years. We both have our birthday on the 24th of january, so if You ever read this Ernest....happy birthday in advance :-)
thanks for posting and all i can say is from "bad day at black rock"--no comment --no camment and hes 91-happy birthday ernest--i hope that wasnt too much!!!!!!!
Jack Lalane(rip) had nothing on this guy...Mr.B looks like he's in his 70's speaking very coherently and full of spunk. Great Genes! Congrats on your sag award by the way!
Airwolf yes he was great in that but he is just the best when it comes to a down to earth pearson as I see him in interviews I don't know him .Those of you who do could not find anything bad to say of him and that is the most wonderful thing he could ask for of his fans .
Not sure if this is true but I heard that Borgnine once said he thought Vincent was one of the best actors he ever saw but that he wouldn't work with him again for a million dollars an hour :(
