It always amazes me how some locations are unrecognizable while others look identical from many many years ago. Fantastic job guys what a great start to a Sunday Morning.
Love all the videos that you guys collaberate together. Jim Varney's Cousin John spoke at my first wife's Funeral, his daughter was my wife's best friend growing up.
Hey Adam! The actress who played Harmony ( Noelle Parker) just had spinal surgery and recovery is long. Her friends set up a gofundme, I saw on her Instagram. Great video!
Great to see you and Micah together again. The research both of you do just blows me away. Another great filming locations video. Thanks so much for all of your hard work on this.
FINALLY...you are doing a movie I have seen and well familiar with! We watched it every Christmas Eve for several years in a row at my mom's house! My mom and wife didn't appreciate it, but my brother and I and the kids did! Thanks for the video!
I’m so happy for you and Micah’s Ernest videos. I rode my bike around downtown Orlando and saw the Ernest house before they tore it down. Classic movie! ❤️🎥
I discovered Ernest while I was living in Seattle as a young Aussie teenager. He never really found the fame here as he did there. So Ernest movies hold a special place in my heart. To me he’s become my teenage connection to my time in the USA. When I watched the babysitters club (my favourite book series) and seeing him playing maryanne’s dad my teenage heart was so happy!!
This was hilarious and so much fun to see all the locations. Jim Varney is so funny as Ernest. Love the variation on this channel so much and all the history, movie locations, Americana, etc, so awesome!
Great Video Adam and Micah! Awesome seeing you both do this. Fun fact: Shakespeare Theater used to be originally the Orlando Science Center. And the dome or dish roof was the planetarium. Anyways--- great stuff !!! Keep up your awesome work
I've never seen a single Ernest film--only exposed to the funny tv commercials growing up, but when I was a kid I dont know why I always thought he reminded me a little bit of Ernest T Bass from the Andy Griffith show, as they both wear vests and had larger than life personalities ? Just me? Haha, who knows. I'll have to marathon these films sometime, in order, and then come back and rewatch all this with new eyes. :) I do respect the passion for details here today,. Nerds rule all, I'm here for it. 😁✌️💚
I loved Jim Varney. I loved his singing. He sang with Country music God Father Vern Gosdin which was funny because of the "hey Vern" thing. I was not an Ernest fan in general ( I was not a ten year old boy at the time lol ) but the one he did in Africa was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I used to show it to my Mother in Law and we'd laugh and laugh. His performance as a Harem dancing girl is still so funny to me. I put that on ( it was hard to find the dvd of it ) and just laugh like a rabid donkey. Oh, just saw some dear
Thanks for doing a tribute to Jim the man Varney and thanks for bringing your friend along. I saw that movie so many times on tv. It would be a Christmas special 🎄⛄. This was awesome. Merry Christmas Adam and friend.😎👍👍🎁
Thanks for showing the filming locations for this Christmas classic. We watch this Christmas classic each year. There’s a store in Gatlinburg called Santa’s Claus-et that has 2 elves with sunglasses that remind me of the elves from Ernest Saves Christmas every time we visit. We really enjoyed your vlog.
I enjoy seeing your videos that you do with Micah and Tim because you’re watching each video from a different perspective. Seeing the exact same shots but from each of your takes is interesting.
I always geek out over your famous location videos, but this one is especially awesome! Loved this movie as a kid and still do. I used to laugh out loud at the Ernest films. He was a national treasure. Thank you!
Such fond memories of this movie (all Ernest movies but this is prob my favorite next to Ernest goes to camp), thank you for this video, loved seeing all the film locations.
Love the attention to detail that both you and Micah put into this video. One of my favorite Christmas movies and now one of my favorite DailyWoo videos 👍👍 Much love to World of Michah as well checking his out also.
It’s been a while since I saw that movie. I should watch it again. In fact I’ll watch it right now. Was trying to decide what to watch tonight and you just helped me. My dad introduced me to those Ernest movies when I was young. He always liked those kinda goofy movies. ~~ You always do a really good job with filming locations.~~ I just had to mention too (even though it’s really not a big deal) that the bird at the beginning of your video was a swan not a goose.
Jim Varney's Saturday morning TV show came on at like 6:00 AM back in 1988. "Hey Vern It's Ernest" was the name of the show, just before Pee Wee's Playhouse. It was great, when I managed to wake up early enough.
The tree you guys were looking for across the street from Earnests house was a live oak (like most downtown) and it was blown over in a wind storm after a lot of rain, roots and all. I use to live right there for 4 years when I first moved to Orlando and didn't know any of this. I've walked all over the places you guys are SMALL world. The lawyer from you first stop actually also did notary services when I lived there, I walked there to have some stuff stamped when I bought my first place off Holden and Orange. I've since left again because why not. (I'd prefer to have stayed) but I'll definitely be retracing all my previous walks and now your steps to take the tour myself when I come back to visit again. Can't believe out of ALL the "cool stuff" I showed family and friends that came down from Detroit over the years earnest was living right there with me the whole time and I didn't even know. (btw "Earnest Goes to camp" was my first movie of Jim's but they were all favorites.) Thank you so much for all of this
OMG that Wells Fargo was my bank there. And when you guys are both talking to the camera. That outdoor area behind you was a bar then. Busier at night but opened pretty early for being a bank Cafe lol.
this movie was great. used to watch with my little brothers all the time. The trick scene going into the studio with ernest as the snake farmer was hilarious! Pison snakes!!
Ahh, smell those Christmas trees. You can keep your ‘Channel’ Number 5, just give me a whiff of the old lonesome pine. That symbol of brotherly love, that centerpiece that all mankind gathers around to share the cranberry sauce shaped like a can.
Great video Adam and Micah! The Amtrak station in Orlando we have vlogged inside and outside on our channel for our PrimeTrains and Amtrak Station Tours! We loved visiting the Orlando station and even took a train out of Orlando to Tampa for a vlog earlier this year.
Yes I loved Earnest Saved Christmas. I can remember me and my mom watching it for the 1st. She loved it and Earnest too. Holds many pericous memories. Enjoyed this one a lot. Hug's
Adam, really enjoyed your vlog! I love Earnest Saves Christmas Even, tho it's been ages ago I seen it! Hello World of Micah! Can't wait till your next vlog!
Nice one. My favorite scene was when Ernest tries to fix the wiring in Verne's house and ends up tearing it out of the wall. I think the "Air Brakes" line is from an old Buggs Bunny cartoon.
I love for you guys to do Parenthood, Monster, Larry the Cable Guy and Daryl filming locations! Also the 2015 movie Sisters was filmed in Orlando as well!👍
I still watch it every year. The first time I watched the snake truck scene. I laughed until I cried. My ribs were sore the next day from laughing. They'll narl up on ya.
Adam I know I have stated this before but you and Micah are RU-vid gold together. You’re his Ying to your Yang. Oh boy that didn’t sound right. Sorry. You are like 2 peas in a pod. Better ? I think so. Lol
My dad was actually in charge of the building at Lake Eola where the majority of the movie was filmed. He met Jim Varney and said he was a cool guy and just as funny as he was off screen as he was on screen.
I was the Associate Director on the last year of the Roseanne Show . We has Jim Varney on the show for two weeks but Roseanne hired him for a non comedic role.
12:05 "she was conversating" . I think the word you're looking for is conversing. Conversating is not a word. Anyway, love your vids. Keep 'em coming. 🙏✌️🤘
