No matter how many other guitars i try and sometimes purchase, I always come back to Ernie Ball music man. I got my first 1996 PV Wolfgang arch top black, it was really special buying that at Christmas time, you remember the first time you played it ,the smell of the case when you opened it up,the weather outside, the place and the feeling when you purchased it and brought it home… I’m sure we all did when we got our first dream guitar. years later, I got a music man Axis super sport tobacco burst in 2010. I’m still playing it today 14 years later and I love it. I also purchased a Luke BFR in 2019 i believe, another work of art. And now I’m waiting for one of the 2024 Ernie Ball music man super sports to arrive….. so exciting, they really are a great company…there’s no other guitars like them….
Honeypot jeez man that is insane. That's the pick, prefer that trem also... only issue is the narrow nut width don't agree with my fat fingertips :( All of them are beautiful and sound excellent.
Awesome! Thanks for doing this video. I've been looking for that olallieberry one online and haven't found any good pictures. I'm lucky enough to own two Axis. A 2020 trans gold and the 2022 BFR in purple nitro. They are the best guitars, IMO. Extremely under appreciated instruments.
Marco!!!!!! - congrats on the new AXIS gee-tars!!! - I really dig the pinkburst lookin one and the green dragon….I dig gloss more than satin….although I’m sure I could love learn to love the satin…the roasted necks are EPIC!!!! - Thanks Marco!!!
Great video! I'm curious about something. You mentioned a few times throughout the video that they "fixed" the high E string issue. Was there a change in the 2024 lineup or are you referring to the 1/32" that they added to the width years ago? Thanks!
You truly deserve these beautiful works of art not only for your level of skill but because you appreciate the artisans who have done the work. Play on brother.
Great video bro... I have 1990 WG ivory and Yucatan blue Axis bought it a few months after you what a great guitar made by ebmm. Imo the best guitar manufacturer ever.
Wow man, congratulations! all look and sound awesome! your review really tempting me to get one of these 😅. Its a lot of fun to sit and watch your reviews, great job!
these are Fantastic 4.Out of this world.quality of maple and all else is beyond me to describe.like watching 4 Stradivaris in mint condition.great video Marko, unfortunately something like that will never come to Serbia.
I used to be a die hard EBMM user. 1999 AXIS was my first branded guitar that I bought after my first payroll despite EVH moving to Peavy. I was loyal to EBMM not EVH. Used it for around 6 years and the neck started to need truss adjustment every 3 days. Unbelievable? That beautiful neck would bend in a flash. The floyd rose post started lean forward and cracked the maple top finish by itself. The black finish in the back started to peal off in huge pieces as big as my hand. I still didn't think mine was a lemon so in 2010 I took it with me on a plane and got help from Rudy's Music New York. They did their best but the neck issue never could be solved. I stopped playing and decided to bring this to EBMM HQ someday and show them what a lemon they made. In the end I held on to it until 2022 and in the midst of COVID sold it off at a record low price because I just didn't want to look at it anymore. So what would I say to EBMM now? Beautiful but not sure. Bitter.
Wish you had hung onto that and brought it to HQ! Yours is probably not the only one that happened to and I’m sure they would have wanted to see it for QC purposes. Probably would have kept it and gave you a new one. Sad though. 😢
Oh man they are all gorgeous. I own a BFR Axis and they are my absolute favorite guitars. Best pickups around. Congratulations dude. I really need that berry in my life.
