Everyday is another opportunity to become better versions of ourselves. If you're taking care of you family and putting others Before yourself you are a man
Wow. A man who has gone through, and continues to go through, his own trials and tribulations, reaches the pinnacle of his career, is honored with the ultimate award in his profession, selflessly does what Stu would've done. Unreal.
@@iigengar-2817 ,Bullshit! Your America, or your idea of it may be deluded with alternative facts, hate, and a complete lack of empathy. But most people believe selflessness, caring for your neighbor, and acts of kindness are 100% American values.
@@davepearson6945 America the land of the FREE. Is Basically Forcing people to take a Vaccine Otherwise won’t be allowed to work or Shop. Sounds like you need validation before you can be free, Not to mention this is only one of the few things. But Does that sound like Earnie Johnson? EJ is real and straight up. That’s not America Bud.
Great men like Ernie will never broadcast things like this. That's why people like us, who benefit from his example, need to do it for him. Ernie is the GOAT. And that's a fact.
Ernie is a loving family man, adopted 4 children along with his own, fought and beat cancer, very classy and humble yet funny. and such acts are not surprising by such individual. R.I.P Stuart Scott and all Cancer deceased humans.
“The only place this belongs in on the mantle at Stuart Scott’s house.” The best part is that when he said that, you could feel every single person in the audience saying “You’re damn right, Ernie.”
Bored With you he isn’t a good role model because he has cancer, he’s a good role model because he was able to use the fame you mentioned change many people’s lives
Ernie Johnson is pure class. What a way to salute a fellow sportscaster who had lost his battle with cancer. Stuart Scott was a very eloquent man, whose vocabulary was so broad and invigorating, everytime you heard him speak you felt richer for having listened to him.
You don’t lose to cancer. You win by how you fight. Thank you Ernie, that you Stuart for literally being the reason I’m still here today and able to type these words. You were my inspiration when I was young and you’re my hero now. Thank you EJ
Ernie is such an awesome guy!!!! He shows what a real class act is!!!!!!! Enough can't be said about him and I thought he was the best dad to his son!!!!!!! He is truly a gentleman!!!!
Wow Ernie Johnson is probably the most respectful, godly like man. Words that I can’t even describe this guy. I wish him and his family nothing but the best.
I miss Stuart more & more everyday. Especially since my tv is usually always on ESPN. Hard to enjoy basketball playoff season with #1) him not around for it, & #2) Craig Sager not around much because of his battle w/ cancer as well. RIP Stuart Scott. EJ is a class act for this.
What a gesture by Ernie Johnson. To honor the great Stuart Scott like that by having his daughters come up onstage and present them the award. Look up the definition of class act and Ernie's picture is right next to it.
I already loved Ernie, but seeing this now makes me love Ernie so much more because this was a class act and now he just gained so much respect from me
Ernie Johnson's character deserves to be emulated which is he biggest compliment you can pay anyone. He gives the impression he has everything because what he has is always enough, it's about who else he can lift up, shine a light on or guide in the right direction. In his current state of grieving, I'm sure that'll be remembered as those he's affected support his family.
Ernie is one of the coolest and classiest dudes we have ever been blessed to know. There is not a bad bone in this man's body. He is the epitome of a respectful and funny human being. God bless him!
I actually cannot believe that someone would thumb down this video. EJ is probably one of the most humble people ever. His selflessness is like none other. One day I wish I could meet Ernie in person and tell him how much of a wonderful man he is.
Wow wow wow…I have watched Ernie Johnson for damn near 20 years on TNT. Have heard all the stories of his huge heart. But this is a class act in the highest degree. That’s a true man I hope to emulate day to day in my own life.
I remember there was a time after David Stern & Kobe died that Ernie was an emotional wreck. He’s a soft-hearted WARRIOR who beat cancer & I’ll always be a huge fan of his. Keep up the good fight, EJ! Much love ✌🏾💜 RIP Stu! Miss ya!
this guy is very professional at what he's doing on TNT. He always calm and the every word he uses are wisely chosen. never get bores watching those guys on TNT during halftime
Even without this, how can you not love EJ? To call him a "class act" does no justice to the mans character. The way he handled the last election results on Inside the NBA was a masterclass in diplomacy while still holding to your convictions. I hope we're lucky enough to have many more years of Ernie behind the desk; NBA basketball won't be the same without him.
Remembering this night ' and recalling it because I watched again when Chuck announced Ernie going into Sports Broadcaster Hall of Fame. Ernie is such a jewel 🙏🏾❣️🙏🏾
Words cant describe how much i love and respect ernie. Such a great guy all around i never get upset about celebrity deaths but god forbid when he passes it will mess me up.
Ernie.... you make me laugh ... and cry. .you a really special guy... with a huge heart.. bless you . Frm toxteth. Liverpool uk... I'm a 47 ..mum of 2.... and I watch u shaquille .. Kenny n chuck. .. and... you really are brothers.. not just Co. .workers. .. love y@LL
Ernie will continue to earn the praises of his peers for years and years to come. He knew what that night and award meant to those girls and let it be their night. That’s class.
Love and miss you Stu..These moments exemplify GREAT character and integrity, its growth within humanity, TRUE mastery, masterfully personified...just be your best the best you can that's all..Stand tall and strong y'all🙌🙏💗✊
Those are classy individuals all the way around! Stuart was a lucky man to have two beautiful, intelligent and classy young girls like that! RIP Stuart Scott!
