What a legend. I met Erno Rubik at Hamleys toy store in london in the 80s. Very kind man. He signed my rubiks magic box in gold pen, the signature progressively and inexplicably wore off on its own, a year later it was gone. Which sucks. Haven’t liked gold pens since, they are symbols of bad magic, tackiness and loss.
I see it coming, this legendary man must die first, before this planet regocnice his genius. Enjoy your second half of your life as a living legend Mr. Rubik. I hope i can meet you someday.
Probably not great assuming he only uses his own brand of cube. Although I felt compelled to make that joke I must add I have enormous respect for Mr. Rubik and am very grateful to the Rubik's brand.
I find that the cube and cubing has taught me that when you're performing a task repeatedly you either didn't learn the lesson or you didn't complete the task.
I admit. I just recently discovered this man in Facebook. I thought the rubik's cube was invented in ancient civilization times. It didn't cross my mind to research it, it was like a subconscious that cube the same as chess, card decks and other stuff created a long long time ago. 😅. and now I'm obsess by searching this amazing man. I'm so happy to think i exists the same time as the creator of the legendary rubik's cube and for sure even after a thousand years this will mark on history..😅
I would love to know what he thinks of today's competitions.....when he invented it...did he ever guess about what he thought the fastest possible solve might be some day? Did he envision sub 4 solves and international competitions??! Thank you Erno!
he is lying about the story he stole the idea from someone who also came from Hungary but when he invented it he sold it out of his gradge and did not get it patented then Rubik made it and patented it and Rubik got all the credit.
