Excellent interview and kudos to you Penuel for bringing Ernst onto this platform so your viewers can hear first hand the good work AfriForum does for everyone. Also to dispel the myth of them being only for white Afrikaners. Penuel the Black Pen 👊👊

Afriforum is doing a great job, so inspired by Soltech R300 million institution. I so wish there can be an Afriforum which caters for black people. We can always put our hope and trust to Government which doesn't serve our interests. They living privilegely in the DA run suburbs while poor black masses are suffering. We need more organizations like Afriforum.

Thank you Penuel for being prepared to listen to views from Afriforum's side of the vitual fence some people have created to keep Apartheid alive by stoking racial hatred. We must listen to each other to understand our similarities and our differences better. We must work hard to find a way forward where we can live in harmony despite our cultural differences. If you show respect you also deserve respect. It works both ways. Thanks for a great interview.

The town created its own infrastructure with electricity, water, etc. Does the land have water that can be accessed? Because that could be a problem.

The interview is riggled with apartheid education. About halfway through the interview, the guy goes on about how apartheid (developing while apart) is good for everyone. It's a perspective that has worked for Afrikaaners, suitable for a minority. But as a majority, you want exactly the opposite. You want centralized power. All we need is to learn from them by being a bit more constructive rather than destructive.

Not Pen saying Afrikaans is indigenous

Surely Dutch is the language that’s not indigenous to SA, as opposed to Afrikaans? I understand the creolization of Dutch into Afrikaans to have occured on our shores - which would mean that Afrikaans was birthed on our shores and is thus indigenous to out shores….no🤷‍♂️

It is called Apartheid, not decentralization. But I should have skipped this interview but because I love The Black Pen, I found myself listing.

and these supposed neighborhood watches are no different from the old apartheid police. They ask the same questions as asked by the apartheid police. Also, the neighborhood watches are working with their private security companies with guns and armed responses. They can even shoot you on the spot, in the name of protecting themselves. This is exactly what happened in Phoenix. It starts small and innocent and gives it a few years, you will see. The Phoenix massacre was proof of what neighborhood watches are capable of.

@@thulanigwala1404 What do you counter-propose as a solution to ensuring no crime in neighbourhoods where police are failing the ppl?

@@godpenuel Afriforum can't work alone apart from the government and the police, that is called vigilantism and it is iligal. Police should be there to make sure that the right of those black road sidewalkers are safe. They should send their volunteers for training either by police themselves or atleast do code E&D ye security before joining neighborhood watch.
@godpenuel

@@thulanigwala1404 I think you need to research neighbourhood watch initiatives and how they operate. Perhaps also familiarize yourself with how private security works & the rights of citizens.
