Errol Christie vs Mark Kaylor 

One of my favourite fights.

Great fight two incredibly tough guys.

Being no social media or sports radio, the only updates were really in the daily papers, or an update on the Saturday sports programs…..all 2 of them! Wrestling was more important ! But I remember my Dad bringing the paper home from work every day,and seeing the pictures of the press conference brawl and thinking ‘this is going to be a cracker’. And it was. They both gave everything. Kudos to both men. Great, old school, British fight.

I remember watching this fight on Sports night...one of the Great British slug fest's of its time. These two lads were both good boxers and as we seen here tonight both at similar levels..a good British fight..and free to air as well.

What a great fight that was competition was so fierce at middle weight back then all over the world there were great middle weights either of these lads would have probably held a version of a world title today

I remember the punch up they had at the press conference...they didnt like each other...£82,000...for a non title fight was sum purse...probably about £150,000 each now...pity they had to fight so much then to make a decent living...kaylor was burnt out at 25

I was there it was like a race war on both sides.
