My favorite art ever is "Time of Heroes" by kekai kotaki. One picture tells a powerful story. I also like "Huntmaster of the Fells" by Magali Villenueve and "Knight of Dusk" by rk post.

Avacyn restored was the only set I played as a kid. Was 13 at the time. I never bough packs really, in all my time maybe 20 packs or so? Was lucky enough to have pulled a foil cavern and two regular. Suffice to say I sold them recently for a pretty penny 😝

Agreed. It's my favorite set as well. I had an angel deck back then.

It came out 3 days before my 12th Birthday and the Red/White Human deck was my first deck.

@@Vamoss39 I built 2 decks when this set came out. The first was an Angel deck and the 2nd was an all Vampire deck. I was 14 or 15 years old and this was at the time I've first began to get into magic and didn't really know how to play just yet. But thankfully i made friends at my local game store and they taught me how to play and how to build a deck. Fun times. Man how times have changed. I miss the days we actually use to play for fun.

@Raven Of Shadows: The only thing I hated about this set was the fact that the theme was "Ignite The Dawn" and said to "Lead Humans To Victory" and they give you 90% of the Humans in the Intro Pack! That really annoyed me. Cause to get the other humans you had to buy stuff from the previous sets. Also... I to this day I wonder if it's possible to make a Four Color Human Deck with all the Angels in it...

@@Vamoss39 Honestly what really got me into magic and what i loved about this set in particular was Avacyn herself. I remember back then i was really into Yugioh and i remember coming in to buy more Yugioh cards and saw a poster of Avacyn and taught she waa just so beautiful and asked mike the owner of the game store about her and he told me about magic and even took the time to tell me a little about the lore behind Avacyn. How she was created by Sorin markov and why he created her. Ever since then i would come back to the game store and mike would teach me how to play magic and how to build a deck and even tell me more about the lore behind magic. That's pretty much how it all began with me. So Avacyn will always have a special place in my heart because if it wasn't for her i would not have gotten into magic in the first place and that's why my first deck i ever build was an Angel deck.
