I love that interaction after the first SD. ESAM crouching not in mockery of Wizzy, but to tell him "If this wasn't literally a supermajor, I would 100% homie stock you right now, I'm so sorry dude."

Man you could tell that BOTH players were playing so nervously. There were so many interactions in this set that I felt were filled with messups (including SDs on both players' sides). Still kudos to ESAM for beating Wizzy out and even keeping cool when he was down 3 stocks. Kudos to Wizzy for also bringing that game 3 back when he SD'd. Both showed how strong they are as players

Dark Wizzy, incredible all through Glitch and this tournament too. Honestly thought he'd claw it back in this match but never mind. He'll be in grands next year.

This sd’s, especially the second one in game 4 cost wizzy the set. Still a great set though for both players and great performance for a event such as genesis.

ESAM just looks like a humble man lol. you can tell in his crouch spam in game 3, he felt the pain too. both very good players btw ! Dark Wizzy is so good at controlling the arena . ESAM is amazing at polishing his combos; especially as Pikachu

Man wizzy let esam off the hook game 4. He got a huge lead and started to give up his stage position to try to finish off the stock instead of continuing his fantasy edgeguarding he was doing the whole set. Unfortunate but props to esam for not giving up.

the commentators are talking about the sparks that esam uses to predict DI but those are only usable from the down throw, you can't see them or react to them on upTilts, which is why nair loops are still hard to get and why esam still doesn't get them most of the time, also it's still a very fast thing to react to even on dThrow

What an insane match from begining to end! Very surprised that ESAM won, after the commentators stated that he had already lost two matches against Dark wizzy I already thought it was unlikely, and by the third game I was so sure it wouldn't happen. You can just feel Dark wizzy's pain after that fourth game, he started so strongly and then was somehow overwhelmed all of the sudden. Toxic comment section tho. On one hand you have morons complaining about the trans flag that Dark Wizzy wears, and on the other you have ESAM's dedicated hatebase showing up again.
