I appreciate that you’re expanding the number of data-driven test vids 👌 Always good to have as much info out as possible for all of us normal consumers and not just claims from manufacturers or anecdotes from fans!
I hope castle improves this esc a bit. I'm on my second one and it still occasionally does the same thing the first did that was replaced under warranty. I'll be crawling and it just stops, I can walk up and push it a bit and then it runs again. I want more sensored esc options
Yep this esc has just stopped several times during the testing, but that's after the esc is well over 180 degrees F. My biggest problem this specific esc (which is going to be on the "score chart") is the noise and terrible low speed control. I'm really hoping they come out with an AM32 version quickly like the cobra 8! 🍻🍻
@@the-ab-outdoors I only use this esc with a sensored blackjacket motor so doesn't cog at all. The sound doesn't bother me if on my crawler only car but I wouldn't want it on a trail truck for sure. Mine wasn't getting hot enough to cause it to shut off, it was something else. Other than this, I have only used hobbywing fusion motors. I'm wanting to get a amd32 esc next though so these videos are coming out at the right time. I'm looking into the furitek python x mostly due to its BEC and Bluetooth programming
@@keldonator I haven’t gotten my python yet, but from other videos I’m seeing they run really hot so be careful! The sound doesn’t bother me either, but people complain about it in the videos so I tend to not like it either. 🍻🍻
