That was a Denali, NOT AN ULTIMATE DENALI!!! The Ultimate has different wheels and only has Alpine Umber (brown) interior. Also, the grill is dark Vader chrome, not bright chrome! Come on...

I always have a soft spot for the GMC Yukon Denali. The Yukon is my favorite.

I just bought a Duramax diesel Denali. Took it on a road trip and I was getting 26 mpg. I love the captains chairs in the second row.

We made the same comparison back in December and ended up buying the Denali for the same reasons people are mentioning here in the comments. It rode the same as the Escalade, looked WAAAY better than the Tahoe, but still had a nice luxury feel on the inside, even tho it didn't have a full glass cockpit like the Caddy does. We are very happy with it, get anywhere from 20-24mpg (6.2L gas engine option) highway and 14-18mpg around town. It's super smooth ride and for a large SUV, very easy to drive and maneuver. Got one off the lot (10 days on the lot after it was delivered) and had a couple wanting to buy it as we were signing the papers. Steel color with the standard brushed chrome wheels and brown interior.

Chevy Tahoe will get a look or two cruising the strip...GMC Yukon commands a double take as it cruises by... Cadillac Escalade is a neck breaker while it floats by....

I finally decided which one I want.

Bought a 2023 Tahoe Premier. Best bang for the buck. Got most every option the High Country does. I wanted the 5.3 and 2 wheel drive. 5.3 doesn’t recommend high test gas. Plenty enough power.
