@@Pandcakes936 For me it was crying over Beyblades. I have fond memories of recess chaos, ripping spinning tops at each other with this song blaring in the background
Idk if the person meant it like that but ppl think you have to be Emo to enjoy a certain song when that's not the case at all. So those ppl that believe they moved on from a so called Emo phase to avoid a song they like sounds, pretty immature and stupid. Don't you think so?
There's a place that I've found As far as I can see This place lies within The depths of my dreams In a garden surrounded By fire and trees Through the smoke a silhouette I can barely see There's a man with an axe Standing in the rain Looked me straight in my eye This is what he had to say Never fall asleep You won't wake up Destroy the guillotine Before he does I walk with shadows (you have to find a better way) I walk with shadows (the questions I will never say) Hiding from the gallows (they keep me safe and sound) So I walk in shadows (the ways of burning down this house) End transmission The satellites are down I need an earthquake To shake this pity Off the ground Just don't trust these liars at the door (you have to find a better way) Kill the ones that have these answers for (the questions I will never say) Never fall asleep You won't wake up Destroy the guillotine Before he does I walk with shadows (you have to find a better way) I walk with shadows (the questions I will never say) Hiding from the gallows (they keep me safe and sound) So I walk in shadows (the ways of burning down this house) End transmission The satellites are down I need an earthquake To shake this pity Off the ground All the vibrant colors I see And the shades that fill the grey Pain The pain Pain The pain Pain The pain Pain The pain Pain [x2] Hiding from the gallows (you have to find a better way) I walk with shadows (the questions I will never say) Hiding from the gallows (they keep me safe and sound) So I walk in shadows (the ways of burning down this house)
+german santos same brother, only sound advice i can give is give time to figure yourself out and treat others kindly and with respect. This music should do you good, you might not even listen to it in later years but that's also not a bad thing, i listen to mostly instrumental now and of course DGD which you should totally give a shot if you don't listen to them already

I had a rough time of it as a kid and I never found release through music. My sister was out and left her ipod nano at home. I decided to go out and ride a bike listening to it. She was slightly older so it was just full of bands like etf, bfmv and bmth. Absolutely hooked me. This sort of music carried me into my adulthood. I still listen today as a 27 year old man. I genuinely think the quality of this song is better than 99% of rock/metal that comes out today, unreal.
+james “GooglePLusSUX” strale I agree the fact that they sound really different, but don't know where your bringing the BVB from. Blink maybe, knowing Ronnie loves doing a lot of rap parts, but I still don't think it's anything close to Blink.
Ronnie Radke needs to get in here & read these comments and realize he needs to do an anniversary re-do of this, I would pay so much money for an updated version.
@Josh Hawley nah, i would love something like this, but I know he’s just gonna make it into a soft ass thing like “the drug in me is you is reimagined” and tbh, it was good, just def not my cup of tea
This was my shit when i was 14. i would wear black hoody, black skinny jeans, black vans shoes, skateboard, long black hair, pretended like i had problems. emo was cool when you're 14
@@maryjanearmstrong5267 you guys are like two grandpas remembering old times. I'm 31 too. And the original commenter is 34 at this point! Damn, just how old can you get? Update* I just realized you're female, sorry. I didn't mean to offend. I meant to say you're like grandma. You feel better now?
2007, 08, 09, 2010... those were days man. i remember jamming to my band. my friends's bands and my teacher's band to songs like these. that made me confirm that music was truly my passion. drums, skateboarding, girls and heartbreaks, the golden years. gone by never forgotten We were full of life, young, free, highs and lows, no matter what, that was the meaning of life to me. Enjoying and taking in every little bits that comes with it.
Was 10 years old when this greatness released, always end up coming back to this album, it is embedded in my brain. I am 25 years old, gonna be 26 soon.
Same here! I remember listening to this in highschool damn 14 ish years ago I just looked up when it was released and having heard it in highschool around 2009 it was already 3 years old XwX Jesus im getting old
Ronnie will forever be my favourite musician. His etf songs like situations and this to his solo songs like never the same will forever live in my heart. He never fails to dissapoint, whether its "screaming" or rapping hes saved me from ending it. Thank you my friend
When I came to the USA about 9 years ago, my older sister who is about 22 use to put (and still does) Escape The Fate, Linking Park, Nirvana, Motionless In White Etc. so I grew up with this music. She has albums and I'm 13. Just know some of us young people listen to this too and rock out to it🤘
Sin duda la mejor canción no solo de escape the fate o que Ronnie hizo, para mi es la mejor canción que existe, es demasiado hermosa y es el mejor trabajo que por lo menos yo e escuchado, es perfecto
My very first big show I went to was these guys headlining shortly after this album came out and I can say it was one of the best experiences of my life. There's just an intensity that this music has that nothing else does
Since i was a child , i've always listened to Metal and Post Hardcore . Then i grew up , i became a Rap fanatic and forgot metal for a bit . Now i'm 21 years old , I'm still addicted to this genre ... Yep , 12 years old me had good music taste
Too much nostalgia listening to this, back when i first discovered this people would send songs through bluetooth, from random friends as a kid (9-10) i would get different songs of the album i absolutely loved it and then searching them up on youtube (2007-2008 youtube is a mood tbh). Even till this day, when my tastes have changed completely (classical musician and classical listener now), this album is what got me to pick up the guitar.
i've grown out of most punk rock that i listened to in high school, but songs like this i probably never will. this song transcends the angst of punk rock. this is just good, soul-touching music
