Hello, A great article! I am a retired executive from Silicon Valley who has now lived in Puerto Vallarta for 1.5 years. I know what it is like to arrive here not knowing where to go or where to stay and most locals do not speak English. My local friend has a new fully furnished 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment available in a nice PV neighborhood. The rent on a multi month contract (perhaps +/- 6 months?) is 14,000 MEX (789.USD) per month which is way below the High Season going rate for snowbirds!
