Apparently it's a trend in FLDs and some of the members in an interview joked that "the higher your hair the more righteous you are"

I heard it was because some one of their previous prophets thought that all ladies should have a “perfect oval shape” to their head. So they try to style their hair to make an oval from their chin to the top of their hair. There’s a RU-vid channel called FLDS productions that talks about it.

I used to be apart of the LDS church which is the group that separated from the strict, polygamous lifestyle within the Mormon community. Sometimes people ask me about Warren Jeffs and if I still believe in him. I always tell them that they are mistaking me for an FLDS member and then I have to go into this WHOLE big explanation about the difference between LDS and FLDS

@@annekalunn99 i never thought of the LDS church as bad. infact, most people in that church are quite nice. the LDS church is very relaxed and not as stricted as the FLDS. i miss a lot of the members in my church but i wouldnt go back since of my views on God.

Some of these kids are only allowed to call their parents by name. In the Kingston Clan if you aren't a child of the first wife you cannot acknowledge you father as your father. Affection is a distorted ideal in polygamy.

Something that always sits wrong with me is when no matter what religion or cultural background you have, they will force women to have many children and not realize how traumatic carrying a child is. The hormonal imbalances, the mental strain, physical strain, and the social strain. They seem to see women as just someone to make a child instead of a person with worth. It also grosses me out that the men can have so much leverage on what a woman's life and they're fine with consistently putting strain one the women to give them children while they just sit back and move forward.

Hannah Jean There are a lot of groups working wither the “escapes “ to house, and feed then. The girls on the show that help them are escapees themselves. They have many groups in Arizona and Utah helping out.

Everything that makes a teenagers happy is forbidden. But men can get many wives if they want and they can decide over them. Women are only maids who take care of children and are dedicated to those men all their lives. So nice and equitable. Afterwards people wonder why young people want to quit. They want to be free and run their lives in the way they want. That is called human rights.
