thanks for having me! it was so fun learning how prisons have developed over the past year, since I haven't paid attention to prison stuff too much in that time. and tbh i haven't done much redstone in that time either, so it was fun getting back into it for the nether stasis chamber chain.
For whatever reason, "redstone parity offset" was the part that impressed me the most. That tiny of a change being needed for the plan to work is kind of crazy.
yeah, the reason for that was because you're able to exist in the world, within a chunk ban, but for only 1 gametick. Kenadian presented the idea of theoretically teleporting the banned player every gametick for a certain amount of time to teleport them out of the ban. so i spent some time designing the chained stasis chamber you see in this video. The parity offset was done in order to activate each stasis chamber 1gt apart, but actually the contraption in this video doesn't work 100% correctly lol (there's a 1gt difference when you turn it on, but not when you turn it off, and it's important that it has that difference for both the on and off). I've made one that works perfectly, but the contraption in the video was the best we had at the time, and we already did all the replay mod recording with it.
“There’s only one person who even KNOWS I’m imprisoned here…” So, I’m assuming you either accidentally trapped yourself or you irl killed the person you trapped you. Sheesh
Bro, how are you so underrated? People talk about Dream being bigbrain, yet even if his manhunts weren't staged, you have a MUCH higher intellect! You've pretty much reached the PIQUE of Minecraft knowledge. I will never tire of your great quality videos.
as i am stupid and have no idea anything about escaping- i think you did something smart? good job either way- my monke brain was like "ooo squilly sliding in replay mod alsdkjflaskdjf"!
Removing the target block redirects the redstone dust into the solid block next to the budded rails, causing them to stay powered when updated by the observers
