Have you ever had one of those days when you just need to get away and have some quiet, well this was that type of day for me so I took my amok and went to a nice calm place for a brew. Hope you all enjoy
Hey Tim…. Hope your doing well. I would say a most beautiful ride and area. My goodness, how your woodland makes me think of my home…. So similar, yet different. Amok certainly has nice products. You’ve tested them a lot… nice to see a product that actually works well and if not, they seem to listen to your thoughts and fix the problem. I remember when you made this little stove. Wow, and it’s still working…. You’re always building things and they work forever. 👌🤗 Great talents. Thanks for sharing this very nice area and Amok news. Take care my friend. 👌👏🙌🤗💕 Lilli
Hi lilli sorry I missed this one. Amok really do make some great things I have been proudly using their stuff for over five years and love them all, I’m trying to get them to make a lightweight tent. Hope you are well thanks for the comment
Best season, was listening your Scottish finch sounding exactly like the finch in my garden ! We are getting all migratory birds during these weeks, which is great.
Sometimes we just got to get away from the city and enjoy a little bit of peace and quiet and happiness in nature love your video I think I'm going to go take me a little ride now and have me a coffee have a good day
When I was younger I wanted the faster lifestyle and the things city life brought me, now I’m older I want more and more to go back home to the country. All the best
Hi Tim, I love what you are doing and I am so glad that you are sharing. I am too old to be able to do what you are doing, but that doesn't mean that I can't appreciate being in the woods and doing it. I hope you will continue to make such good videos and again thanks for allowing me to come along with you. My God bless you and until next time.
Parked my old camper in that very lay-by last time I was back up home a couple of years back. Great to see you more mobile and feeling we'll enough to take on the hammock challenge once again buddy. Tim, a day out in the open does the mind a world of good Peace Charlie 🇬🇧
It’s a nice place to spend some time, I have been going there since I was a teenager. I’m glad to be back out in the Amok I have missed it since I got the thing. All the best
Hey Tim, it's good to see you getting out and about. Can't wait for your next video. Hope all is well and take care. Love the Bike.😎 Stay safe and have fun🏕️😁👍
Thank you for letting us know what’s going on. Was concerned.🙂 Sorry to hear you wrecked your bike. Hope you heal quickly. Hope John doesn’t get burned out working so many hours. That’s hard on the body. Sounds like you both could use a few days camping. Ha!
Lovely little vid and nice shots of you arriving/leaving . Beautiful area there . Pity you didnt stay overnight and make it longer . Perhaps a spot of fishing ? Must be some nice trout in there Tim 😉. Thanks for sharing 👍😊
I agree it’s a shame I was not able to stay over night but I will return it’s not far from my mums house so I’ll stay there one night before I’m due to help in the garden one week. I’m not much of a fisherman unless I’m in a boat at sea hahah. All the best
Good to see you Tim glad that you are doing okay the next time you see John tell him I miss seeing his videos and be glad when he can get back to making videos.
Nice one Tim, cool video. I jumped off that bridge too in my younger days, it's a fair bit higher than the weir at Denton Holme that's for sure. I do like the look of your Amok but I already have a DD Frontline XL and no way of explaining to my wife why I need it! 😂 Atb Daz 😁👍🏻🏕
Right under the bridge is a natural Gorge and it is extremely deep, story goes an ambulance crashed into it and has never been seen again it’s so deep. All the best
It’s a coffee percolator by pezzetti they are easily available online from many places just google it. There are also loads more brands that make coffee percolators, I have mine set up on a simple alcohol stove with wind shield. All the best
I’m the same pal but it’s no just folk, it’s how broken everything is now, crazy hard to get to see a doctor, anything you need to sort out is as much of a baw ache as it could be. Yeh Im sick of it hahaha. All the best to you
Tim, is tarp also UL? Is that a tarp from your older version? I have a 3.0, now i bought a UL hammock, i am waiting for transport and i wonder if my tarp 3.0 will be ok or too small? Regards, Paweł
Thanks for the comment. The tarp in this video is the skjold 10 ultralight, it is lighter packs smaller and is actually a larger tarp. Please check out the video at the end “first look Draumr ultralight” it’s shows the tarp off too. All the best
He has a new job, he now works 70+ hours a week. He has posted a community post to tell all his subscribers and apologies for not making videos at the moment
We are all fine thanks Paul, I hurt my neck but it’s better now and John is working a new job 70+ hours a week so has little time, he will be getting less extreme hours soon.... he says haha. All the best
Hahaha this was a nice day for us the big hot ball in the sky even appeared for a short time hahaha. All the best from the most wet part of a very wet country
Tim I never told you that I’m half Scottish. You can tell because I look like my Dad . I have a cousin that lives in Carlisle that I keep in touch with. And as always ATB Gail
spray chipped roads hate them on a motorbike piles of stone every were and a good second clip when they wear down in rain its like driving on a polished table cheap fix councils keep your vids coming Tim plz
I have never had much of a problem with the roads around here just pot holes really, when roads are more remote and there are loose chipping lined up in the middle of the road is where I’ve come a cropper before. All the best
He has started a new job where he works 70 hours plus per week. He has very little time to spend on himself and even less for his girlfriend and his dog and his house. I don’t know when he will be back
We are fine thanks. John has a job that makes him work 70+ hours a week and I crashed my motorbike and have been taking time to heal and fix it. All the best
Sad to hear about the bike mate glad to hear you are on the mend all the best to you and say hi hope to mr John too hopefully you guys will be able to spend time camping soon (regardless whether you film )
