Just got both the PR4 and JG5 last week. They are terrific slicers and wood carving is a breeze. Due to the pure esthetics being old timey, they both will accompany me on my Civil War reenactments and primitive rendezvous's.
I went back and forth between these and the PR4 when they came out. Kep or Muk? 🤔 Ended up never picking up either and forgot about them. Thanks for the reminder. Don't need another ESEE sticker, though.
I enjoyed your review. I just bought the JG5 at Smokey Mountain Knife Works in Sevierville, Tennessee. I'm a big fan of my ESEE knives. I live in Alabama about 20 miles from the ESEE training compound.
Thanks I appreciate the feedback. I also make a yearly trek to Smokey Mountain Knife Works and usually buy a new ESEE when I’m there. Probably my favorite fixed blade knife brand. Thanks for watching brother!
I've been looking for a nice fixed blade for my trip down to the Smoky Mountains in a few weeks, this is something I may be interested in. I've considered just taking my BK Becker 2 but it's a bit heavy for a side carry. I may have missed it but how's the weight on this knife?
Esee is one of my favorites too, I love me some Esee! I haven't reviewed any of mine on my channel yet (I'm behind where I'd intended to be on knife reviews due to life stuffs, haven't reviewed ANY for a minute or two). I have the PR4 (3, 4, 6, and Avispa folder and love them all...and I have 2 5's in my cart at SMKW trying to decide which I want, LOL! ), the shape of the JG5 intrigues me, I enjoyed the review 😁✌ (stick it to me! 😜) Loving the mini-Jeep 😁
Hell yeah, ESEE makes some truly great knives. Haven’t been disappointed yet! Send me an email at Andy811@woh.rr.com and I will gets a sticker headed your way!
Check out “Projects815” here on RU-vid. He’s got some great videos reviewing and customizing the. Mini Jeep. I also posted a video of mine on my other channel “Regular Guy Exotics”.
Hi, I can't find how to contact you, so i am leaving you a message here. I have a website that specializes in selling OTFs. I am trying to grow the brand and the website. Would you be willing to do a review on our knives?
