Yes that is definitely my ESFJ wife. Once she hits the dramatic part it’s best to just go away. I promise that no logic will help until she can reflect on her behavior and actions. They are confusing as they come. What’s interesting is afterwards they try to pretend it didn’t happen instead of just confronting it so there is resolution lol dead on

As an ESFJ, I admit I get so dramatic, like in this clip, whenever I'm stressed out. I'm still trying to improve my behaviour for me and other people I know
Now I understand why my mom (ESFJ) hates my sense of humor (ENFP). I like finding flaws on everyone and myself so I can make fun of it. I expect them to laugh at me or themselves. But when I make a joke about any flaw that my mom has, she takes it as an insult because she thinks that Im actually mad at her... so I try my best to not joke around her lol

@@andtheywereroommates1989kind of. Because ESFJ’s in a grip use their inferior function which is Ti - that is INTP’s dominating function. Also when ESFJ’s become stressed, they start looking like unhealthy INTP’s.
Idk if it's just my perception, but the Fe attack always seems more revolving around, "You're so awful but I'm so wonderful and long-suffering because I put up with you." Whereas the Te attack is more like, "Here's why you're an incompetent useless failure." Guilt trip vs ego shredding. Also idk why but I LOVE watching awkward dinner scenes. Something about the tension that creates so much suspense. What will they say next? 🤪
It's honestly great that you love your mom. My mom is also an ESFJ, except I think she's an unhealthy ESFJ. I used to love my mom, but ever since sometime, it just isn't the same anymore. I resent her, and I hate her now tbh. This also reminds me of my mom, though I don't know why. I'm also an INFP :). I just can't trust her any longer and I'm so tired of her behaviour.
INTP here. Gotta say it's pretty spot on. Speaking for an acquaintance, when in the grip of Ti, he became so critical and didn't care about logical consequences or even relationships and that whole mess drove me in the Fe grip for a while. The weird thing is,on one hand when we were both in the grip, my Ti is still stronger than his and Fe vice versa, on the other hand, I became the super caring one(even more than he ever did) who's obsessed with interpersonal relationship and yet he became the whining one who's trying to lash out and find fault in everybody. It's better not to be both in the grip for one T dom and one F dom. The drastic reverse can be both hilarious and nuts.
I always say the Ti grip has many cousins. The healthiest cousin is calmness, inferior Ti, being constant, but not taking the lead. Then there's apathy/abulia that makes us look like INTP hermits. Then there's when we really have more than enough of some situation we can barely stand, so, we may rudely dismiss what other people say.
funny because my mom says I turn to be a monster whenever I am angry, I would hurt everyone's feelings in the room and would start to shout like crazy. and after calming down I will try to defend myself and act like nothing happened afterwards. They may say that I am lunatic, but trust me I only reach this point after having enough of the bullshit around me!
Boyfriend also says I turn into a monster xD Cuz I’m usually so fluffy. But I dun act like nothing happened afterwards tho. I love and NEED to address issues @ their core and have it all out on the table. This isn’t finished until everyone gets their closure.

This reminds me so much of my little bro when he's not doing well... I always pegged him as an ENFJ, but ESFJ is a possibility, too. I'm really unsure how to encourage him when he's in these kinds of moods. He's not super confident on his own, but sometimes he gets this sudden bravado that can't be argued with, or like this depressive calm that he can't be pulled out of. I don't really get Ti, my internal compass is all conviction interlaced with emotion and past experiences. It's like I can't break through his shell, that he used to never have, and when he shows what's inside, I don't get it at all. ~INFP big sis here

This is true, i am ESFJ and this is what i do or i can be very passive and cold when my inferior function dominates. Esfj can be more logical then ever. Focus on solution and abandon other's feeling
@pretty angel hello, that is very sweet of you 💗. I agree that there is somewhat of incompatability between these two types. I wish I knew why. To answer your question, I wish she was less judgmental. Something that hurted me was her constantly namecalling or insulting me. I do look up to her so her opinion of me has always been important to me. I would say praise your infp sister on the behaviour you would like to see do more or give recognition if you see her improve. Another thing was telling my mom everything I confided in her. That makes me not able to trust or open up to her as much I would like. Proving to her that she can can trust you, would make her be more open with you. That being said there is a long list of things I am grateful towards her and admire her for. I think your sister might feel the same way about you. I think this pair is able to help each other grow inmensly. I hope this was of any help to you.

It's 50% like : "I've asked you to chill out & wait until we can speak about this respectfully... Like, 10 times. It's nice to know other people have seen this film. Yet ESFJ... i never would have assumed that. Then again i never invested any time trying to type her. I was more focused on the other one being some type of *NFP.

My dad is an ESFJ and it fits sooo gut. My mom as ISFJ is pretty great in just being calm and dont argue with him when he is stressed out, is overly dramatic and points always with the fingers at others or claim what all is wrong or whatever. I'm (as INFJ) can hardly handle this (have to admit it) and normally withdraw in my room so that I have not to deal with my stressed out father ^^'
This type just loves telling you that things are gonna get better. It's because they have their optimistic Ne child. But when things don't change, they can get overtly stressed. Now, you have to calm THEM down for your own sake (Fi). They won't respond favorably though. So you get stressed and... the cycle goes on.
More like ISFP, very intense Fi with Ni narrow focus, everything down to the Te mannerisms and the subjective emotional intensity and focus. ESFJ would not be so direct & cutting in confrontation, lashing, and even bullying, they just explode into an dramatic emotional mess. ESFJ are more messy explosive, logically disorganized, and emotionally messy...and relatively more shallow compared to ISFP. Your other videos are good tho, keep it up! ;)
I’m sorry, but I don’t Penélope Cruz’s character is an ESFJ at all... I was married for an ESFJ for 7 years. ESFJs don’t brag about being talented. I’d say the character is an ESxP (or less likely an ENxP)...

As an ESFJ I’m not dramatic, Probably because of the male temperament. But I don’t see any of this as unreasonable behavior. Also, how is this being in grip of Ti? There should be some kind of Fe-Ne loop, and dropping Si, which she’s using well. No expression of Te demon, but to be fair she definitely used Se critic.

All the labels on the screen as you commented on what this female character was doing is what he does when he feels bad.
